EXCLUSIVE: Shahid Kapoor’s fees for Farzi 2 will blow your mind; it’s the ‘biggest amount’ in his career

Shahid Kapoor first appeared in the streaming world with the 2023-launched series titled Farzi, which gained significant popularity under the guidance of directors Raj & DK. With anticipation running high, viewers are now eagerly looking forward to Farzi 2. The production is slated to commence by the end of this year, and we’ve obtained exclusive information about the substantial remuneration Shahid will receive for his role in it.

Based on reports from those involved in the production, it’s expected that Shahid Kapoor’s Farzi 2 will start filming by the end of this year. Furthermore, it’s been disclosed that Kapoor was given a substantial fee of approximately Rs 45 crore for the upcoming thriller series, which is reportedly the highest amount he’s ever received for a project so far.

It was disclosed that the typical fee for Kabir Singh’s actor ranges from 25 to 30 crores per movie. In this case, though, he demanded more than his usual rate because Farzi is a digital series, and his compensation varies depending on OTT (online streaming) and theater screenings.

Last month, TopMob exclusively revealed that Raj & DK would begin filming for Farzi 2 in December 2025. After finishing their ongoing project, Rakt Brahmand, they plan to move on to the pre-production phase of Farzi 2. A reliable source had provided us with this information.

Apart from that, Raj & DK have likewise talked about the fundamental course for Farzi 2 with Shahid. The subsequent installment will showcase a confrontation among Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, and Kay Kay Menon. It is slated to debut in the latter part of 2026.
