Suriya expressed that a movie should unfold in a natural manner, driven by the vision of the writer and director. They shouldn’t approach it with the mindset of “we both want to work together,” but rather, they should explore if there’s an interesting idea or project that could bring them together. He didn’t suggest they seek out a remake or collaboration in a forced manner.
In the future, Suriya emphasized that he and his wife Jyothika have consistently prioritized art over their acting roles. He explained that it’s the art, or the film itself, that should be the primary attraction, drawing actors towards it. Using his upcoming movie Kanguva as an example, Suriya shared that the film’s unique vision was what persuaded him to join the project and put in the necessary effort.
Speaking about their ongoing search, Suriya expressed, “We are eagerly awaiting a script, idea, or movie project that deserves our attention and efforts. It should definitely materialize, and we should strive to bring it to life, as such projects deserve the utmost recognition.
