During this chat, she also clarified that she hadn’t solicited compliments from anyone contrary to rumors spread on social media.
Janhvi Kapoor doesn’t have the ‘budget’ to buy compliments for herself
At the latest edition of TopMob’s Masterclass, Janhvi Kapoor made a charming appearance. With six years of experience in Bollywood behind her, which she marked in 2024, Janhvi was posed a question: “How do you feel you have grown as an actor?” In response, Janhvi chuckled lightly and replied, “I’m not sure. Perhaps the audience can answer that for me. I believe I might have evolved. I certainly hope so.”
Janhvi humbly declined to boast about herself, expressing, “How can I comfortably brag, ‘I’ve grown tremendously confident, delivering exceptional performances’? I simply cannot claim that for myself.”
When I hear that people are complimenting me, I genuinely hope that’s true. Jokingly, I quipped, “I must be really paying them well for their kind words.”
Janhvi commented, “Every time someone mistakenly praises me on social media, people quickly assume it’s my public relations team at work.”
In her own words, Janhvi expressed, “I merely reply ‘no’… I lack the budget to garner praise from others.”
