At TopMob’s Masterclass led by Himesh Mankad, when Janhvi Kapoor was queried about her new project, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari in the commercial romantic-comedy genre, she responded, “This is my comfort zone. I feel most natural and at ease here. I get to bring out my comedic side and have a great time. I am fully immersed in the drama. Everyone on set has been remarking, ‘Why didn’t you try this earlier?’ I am really enjoying myself while working on it.”

Janhvi has a wonderful connection with Varun Dhawan and Shashank Khaitan. In her own words, she expressed, “I truly enjoy working with Varun. The sets are always lively when he’s around. And Shashank is not just the director of my debut film, but also played a significant role in shaping me as an actor through Dhadak. After many years and numerous films, I’m delighted to collaborate with him once more on this commercial project. It feels like he’s guiding me through this new phase of my acting career – from serious roles to commercial projects. So, it’s a refreshing switch for me.”

Janhvi Kapoor Expresses Her Want To Do Light-hearted Films

In a light-hearted tone, Janhvi shared her desire to be part of films similar to Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, expressing, “I’ve had enough of the tears, being trapped in a fridge, dislocating both my shoulders while playing cricket. Now I plan on enjoying myself, dancing, singing, and laughing.”

Janhvi Kapoor Has A Busy Next Couple Of Years

Janhvi Kapoor has a packed schedule ahead. Upcoming films of hers include “Ulajh,” set to hit theaters on August 2, 2024. She will then be featured in “Devara Part 1,” directed by Koratala Siva and co-starring Jr NTR. Another project, “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari,” is planned for a 2025 release. Additionally, she has “Devara Part 2” and a film tentatively named “RC 16” in the pipeline.
