In my case, just like many others, there are certain celebrities whose presence leaves me a little star-struck. It’s intriguing to ponder that even stars like Jason Momoa might find themselves awestruck when encountering some individuals. However, I must confess, I would not have anticipated Meryl Streep being one of them.
At SNL50, a star-studded event showcasing celebrities from the past five decades, Jason Momoa shared his enjoyment of the anniversary special on Jimmy Kimmel Live. He was thrilled to attend with exclusive tickets and mingle with stars ranging from Bill Murray to Cher. However, it was when he crossed paths with Meryl Streep that he became somewhat overwhelmed. Momoa expressed this by saying:
I’m absolutely thrilled to be a fan! Attending SNL50 was an incredible privilege. What a night filled with excitement and chaos! I had the pleasure of meeting numerous individuals, and then Meryl Streep walked by me and my partner, at which point I exclaimed, “Baby, that’s Meryl Streep!” I felt compelled to approach her and did so.
It’s only fair to acknowledge that Meryl Streep is undeniably one of the most exceptional actresses in history, and many people might get quite star-struck if given the opportunity to meet her. However, it’s hard for me to imagine a flustered Jason Momoa as he approached to make an introduction.
Indeed, Momoa probably hadn’t anticipated the turn of events when he first met Meryl Streep. It seemed she wasn’t familiar with him as he had assumed, which made his reaction all the more surprising when she recognized him. Caught off guard by her recognition, he carried on by saying:
Approaching her, she greets me with a friendly “Hi Jason.” Taken aback, I exclaim, “Wow, you remember my name!” Overwhelmed, I blurt out, “Oh my goodness, I adore you so much.” She reciprocates, saying, “I love you too.” Caught off guard, I wonder, “How is this unfolding?

After wrapping up his time as Aquaman, Momoa is now busy filming “Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow” and portraying the intergalactic bounty hunter Lobo. Finding a character in the DCU that would allow him to act alongside Lobo would be an ideal way to solidify this new camaraderie.
