As a lifestyle expert, I find Riddhima Kapoor Sahni to be a remarkable individual who has navigated through life’s challenges with grace and resilience. Her bond with her family, especially following the loss of her father, Rishi Kapoor, is truly inspiring. The way they grieved privately yet drew closer as a result, speaks volumes about their love and respect for each other.
As an ardent fan, I can’t help but share my admiration for Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, who graced our screens this year with Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives. What truly sets her apart is her unbreakable bond with her family, a bond that was tested by the tragic loss of her father, the legendary Rishi Kapoor, in 2020.
In a recent conversation with YouTube personality Siddharth Kanan, actress Riddhima Kapoor Sahni openly discussed the passing of her father, Rishi Kapoor. She revealed that, during difficult times, her family opted to keep their feelings private and didn’t express them towards each other.
Riddhima reminisced, “When my father sadly passed away, we didn’t express our feelings openly. Instead, we’d retreat to different spaces to shed tears and let it all out, before returning to our usual selves. This unique coping mechanism unexpectedly brought us even closer together.
As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: While the Kapoors might not openly display their emotions, they carry the profound sorrow of his absence within them. The actress from Fabulous Lives and Bollywood Wives, that’s me, stands by my mom, Neetu Kapoor, and she supports me just as strongly. We share a bond of understanding and love during these challenging times.
Residing in Delhi, Riddhima frequently visits Mumbai to console her mother, Neetu Kapoor, when she’s feeling down. She is wedded to Bharat Sahni and together they have a child named Samara Sahni.
On another occasion, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni discussed the passing of her father, Rishi Kapoor. In a previous conversation with YouTuber Anushka Arora, she mentioned that the Kapoor family has grown even closer and they take care of each other more than before. She also touched upon her uncle, actor-filmmaker Rajiv Kapoor, who passed away in 2021.
Rishi Kapoor, who had leukemia, traveled to New York for his cancer treatment. He came back to India in 2019. Unfortunately, later on, Rishi was hospitalized in Mumbai due to breathing issues. Sadly, the esteemed actor passed away on April 30, 2020.
Regarding her initial role, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni joins the third installment of Karan Johar’s production, titled Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives. This series, which started airing on Netflix from October 18, features Maheep Kapoor, Seema Sajdeh, Bhavana Pandey, and Neelam Kothari as the main stars.
