The thought of uncovering the truth behind the script pages is reminiscent of my own nightly investigations in the original game. The suspense is palpable, and I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia as I delve deeper into this guessing game.

“There’s no better way to mark the 10th Anniversary of Five Nights at Freddy’s than by presenting a clever riddle! Alongside launching Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit, Scott Games thought it would be entertaining to share four pages from the script of the upcoming sequel to last year’s popular movie adaptation. Here’s the twist: three out of these four pages are false, and it’s your job, as a fan, to figure out which one is genuine.”

In an interview with The Post, Scott Games suggests that the project might become more intriguing if it were unveiled simultaneously with three fictional script pages. He adds that it will be left up to the audience to determine which page is genuine. Happy 10th Anniversary!

In its initial release, the game titled “Five Nights at Freddy’s” was designed as a horror survival experience where players assume the role of a security guard during the night shift. Their goal is to evade being trapped and killed by malevolent animatronics that become active only after dark. The objective of the game is to survive five consecutive nights using minimal resources at your disposal.

Following the widespread success of the video game, interest in the movie adaptation grew significantly and was realized in 2023, with Josh Hutcherson and Matthew Lillard taking on leading roles. Just like its video game counterpart, “Five Nights at Freddy’s” tells the story of a new night guard who is tasked with uncovering the reason behind the animatronics’ violent pursuit for revenge.

As a passionate movie enthusiast, I recently stumbled upon a tantalizing sneak peek into an upcoming sequel, courtesy of Scott Games’ X/Twitter account. The intrigue lies within four cryptic pages, each offering tantalizing glimpses into the sequel currently in production. Deciphering which scene might be the real deal is proving to be a captivating challenge.

On the initial page, we see Toy Chica and Abby entering a code into a computer with the goal of liberating the captive animatronic characters. The second page focuses on General Everly and Captain Nelson debating financial support for Freddy’s; however, General Everly is against this idea, labeling Freddy’s as more of a “circus.”

1. Page three of the script shows Abby creating a symbolic depiction using The Velveteen Rabbit. Initially hesitant, Mike eventually persuades Vanessa to join forces when she argues for the destruction of the animatronics. The final scene in the script unfolds at Freddy’s Pizzeria, where an unintended trigger sets off the carousel, revealing a concealed staircase that leads a man and his pair of kids on an unexpected adventure.

Although all scripts appear plausible, only one can truly be the authentic one. As a famous fantasy series once said, “There can be only one.” It appears that many fans favor script 4 due to its similarity with the events of the second game. The carousel is a distinctive element in the FNaF2 game’s version of the scene. On the other hand, some fans have suggested that script 2 aligns better with the idea of animatronics having facial recognition linked to a criminal database, as depicted in the second game.

Apart from the script documents, Scott Games unveiled exclusive snapshots behind the scenes at Jim Henson’s Creature Shop. These photos showcase miniature renditions of Freddy and Bonnie, along with decayed versions of Foxy and Chica. Notably, these toy and deteriorated forms of these characters are also present in the second game, hinting strongly that the upcoming film could take its primary inspiration from the second installment of the series.

Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, the initial movie generated significant buzz at the ticket counter. The strong audience interest has fueled plans for a follow-up, scheduled for release in December 2025.
