‘Fargo’ Creator Noah Hawley Signs With WME

As a seasoned storyteller, much like me when I’m immersed in my favorite games, Noah Hawley (the brilliant mind behind Fargo) has teamed up with WME for all-round representation.

The author, scriptwriter, and television producer is slated for a summer 2025 premiere of the series Alien: Earth, a prequel to the 1979 movie directed by Ridley Scott on FX. For Hulu, this sci-fi horror show will be overseen by Hawley. The story revolves around the Xenomorph, a wild and shrieking creature, and features an international cast that includes Sydney Chandler and Timothy Olyphant.

The story unfolds on Earth during the late 21st century, prior to the events depicted in Ridley Scott’s iconic 1979 space horror film.

In a recent development, Hawley, along with his production company, 26 Keys, has crafted the fifth installment of the FX anthology series “Fargo”. Hawley assumes multiple roles in this project, including executive producer, scriptwriter, showrunner, and director. The television adaptation of “Fargo” has garnered more than 70 Emmy nominations and taken home 7 awards.

Apart from his work on FX’s show ‘Legion’, Hawley has also ventured into film direction with ‘Lucy in the Sky’, featuring Natalie Portman and Jon Hamm. Currently, he is busy with ‘Nowhere Fast’, a Texas-based crime thriller set to star Chris Pine, which will be released soon.

Apart from his work on television shows like “Fargo,” Hawley is also known for writing six novels. These include “A Conspiracy of Tall Men,” “Other People’s Weddings,” “The Punch,” “The Good Father,” “Before the Fall,” and “Anthem.” Additionally, he co-authored a book titled “Fargo: This Is A True Story” which serves as a companion piece to the initial three seasons of the series.
