Fifth Harmony, Minus Camila Cabello, in Talks to Reunite (Exclusive)

It appears that Fifth Harmony might be planning to get back together, according to several reliable sources, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. However, it seems that Camila Cabello will not be part of this potential reunion, having left the group at the end of 2016.

Emerging from the TV talent show “The X Factor” in 2012, the original lineup of Fifth Harmony consisted of members Camila Cabello, Normani Kordei, Ally Brooke Hernandez, Dinah Jane Hansen and Lauren Jauregui. This five-piece group would later become one of the most successful girl groups of the 2010s, with their albums “Reflection” and “7/27” both receiving platinum certifications by the RIAA. Their biggest hit was “Work From Home,” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, which had garnered over 1.5 billion streams on Spotify at the time of this article’s publication. Meanwhile, “Worth It,” featuring Kid Ink, achieved triple-platinum status.

2016 saw fans taken aback when Fifth Harmony declared that Cabello was departing the band, clarifying they’d carry on as a quartet instead. During the separation, Cabello surrendered her claim to the Fifth Harmony brand name. Following her exit, they re-contracted with Epic Records and put out their self-titled album Fifth Harmony in 2017. By 2018, the group declared an open-ended break so members could concentrate on individual careers. Currently, Fifth Harmony is no longer under Epic Records’ management.

Individually, Cabello has achieved the most prosperous solo career, marked by huge international anthems like “Havana,” featuring Young Thug, and “Señorita” alongside Shawn Mendes. Meanwhile, Brooke, Jane, Jauregui, and Normani have all put out individual singles and EPs, with Normani garnering hits such as “Motivation” and the duet “Love Lies” with Khalid.

Since Normani released her debut album titled “Dopamine” last year, there have been whispers among 5H fans about a potential reunion, as all four of her former group members had publicly expressed their approval for the new record. However, Rolling Stone previously dismissed those rumors.

2026 marks a significant milestone for Fifth Harmony, being the 10-year anniversary of their albums “7/27” and “Work From Home.” According to sources, the group intends to commemorate this occasion by producing a documentary detailing their comeback performances. This project is expected to include footage from an upcoming, as-yet-undisclosed tour. It’s not clear who is managing the group at present, but Will Bracey, who is married to Ally Brooke and serves as COO of Justin Bieber’s family office, is reportedly spearheading this endeavor.

I reached out to Bracey but didn’t get any response regarding their comments, unfortunately. I tried contacting Normani, Jane, and Jauregui as well, but they haven’t gotten back to me yet.
