As a die-hard fan of the Final Destination franchise since its inception, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming sixth installment, titled Bloodlines. Having grown up watching these movies and learning to dread airplane travel due to their chilling premise, this announcement feels like a long-lost friend is finally returning home.
Death always comes back around, one way or another. This time, death might be even bigger and bolder than ever as Final Destination 6: Bloodlines, the long awaited sequel to the hit horror franchise, is not only returning to the big screen but will hit IMAX theaters as well. Fans of the franchise will be treated to a thrilling experience when the latest installment of the beloved series makes its debut in 2025, just in time to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original film which introduced us to the chilling stranglehold of Death and his plan.
As a longtime horror movie enthusiast and someone who has followed the “Final Destination” franchise since its inception, I must say that this recent development is both intriguing and somewhat disappointing for me. Having eagerly anticipated the release of “Final Destination 6” as a Max Original, the news that it will no longer be part of that platform comes as a surprise.
Theatrical and in IMAX. 🙂
As a die-hard fan of the “Final Destination” franchise, I must say that the announcement of the upcoming sixth installment, “Final Destination 6: Bloodlines,” has left me absolutely thrilled! Having grown up watching these movies, I’ve witnessed how they’ve evolved over the years and can confidently say this is a significant leap forward. The initial plan for its release was MAX, but it seems we’re in for an even grander experience now.
“This movie doesn’t simply build upon previous ones by adding another layer. Instead, it delves into the story in a unique manner, offering a fresh perspective that isn’t merely about setting up a problem and presenting a single solution to choose from or resolve. Rather, there’s an intriguing expansion of the universe presented, one that I find myself treading lightly when discussing.”
