First Look at All Three Stone Island x New Balance 991v2s

As a seasoned gamer of sneaker culture, I can confidently say that the Stone Island x New Balance collaboration is a match made in streetwear heaven! With my years of experience tracking down limited-edition drops and deciphering cryptic social media teasers, I’m excited to see what these two iconic brands have cooked up this time.

Update: The collaboration between Stone Island and New Balance is rekindling this season, with the latest update appearing on the web last week. We now have a sneak peek at all three versions of the rumored Stone Island x New Balance 991v2s. Alongside the previously mentioned gray colorway, sets in olive green and black monochrome finishes have been created as well. Although we don’t have a comprehensive visual breakdown of the shoes yet, it’s worth mentioning that each pair features a semi-transparent outsole. Keep an eye on upcoming release details as we expect them to be made available soon through New Balance, Stone Island and selected retailers.

News Update: Stone Island has shared a sneak peek into their upcoming New Balance project, and here’s a first glance of what the duo has planned this time around. The combination will introduce a grayscale version of the Made in UK’s 991v2, along with two additional colorways of black and green which are rumored to be released as well. Upon closer inspection, the shoe maintains its signature mixed material construction, while Stone Island’s distinctive emblem is clearly visible on the tongue. Keep an eye out for a full preview of the shoes as we anticipate their release in the near future.

Original Story: Stone Island has returned to tease yet another collaboration with New Balance.

In 2021, the two brands began collaborating, reintroducing an updated version of the RC Elite running shoe in 2022. The collaboration was a joint effort between Stone Island’s creative team and Tokyo Design Studio, which is part of New Balance’s product innovation center located in both Tokyo and Boston.

Previously in autumn, New Balance unveiled a black and olive-toned color scheme for their 991v2 model. More recently, Stone Island has presented fresh color options for the New Balance 574 – “Bright Green” and “Deep Green” hues.

The most recent teaser superimposed the logos of Stone Island and New Balance onto pictures of trucks, such as one depicting a person towing a truck using their own body.
