As a long-time fan of Nike collaborations and a collector of unique sneakers, I am thrilled about the upcoming fragment design x Nike Zoom Spiridon “White” release. Hiroshi Fujiwara’s designs have always been a testament to innovation, and his partnership with Nike never fails to produce some of the most coveted sneakers on the market.
Product Information:
For several decades, Hiroshi Fujiwara has worked closely with Nike. He’s not only designed various sneakers himself but also through his label, fragment design. After a while without a joint release, that’s about to change this year-end. A collaboration project between fragment design and Nike Zoom Spiridon is on the horizon.
Last October, we first caught a glimpse of what this partnership would involve when a navy design featuring “FRGMT” accents appeared. More recently, a white version has been revealed, showcasing collaboration branding all over. To begin with, the upper’s lateral Swoosh carries the text “NIKE / FRGMT ZOOM SPIRIDON,” slightly above another line of text displaying the style code and release period. The outsole, on the other hand, has “FRGMT” debossed at the heel, with the brand’s logo scattered across a translucent layer. Further co-branding is seen on the tongue and insole, providing an initial sneak peek of this collaboration.
As I write this, neither Fragment Design nor Nike have disclosed any specifics about their collaboration on the Zoom Spiridon. Keep an eye out for future news, such as official images of the shoes, as we anticipate the project to launch by the end of the year through Nike SNKRS and a few select retailers at a price point of $170 USD.
