First Look at Cate Blanchett, Kevin Kline and Sacha Baron Cohen in Alfonso Cuarón’s ‘Disclaimer’

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I’ve seen more than my fair share of twists, turns, and cliffhangers. But the teaser for Apple’s psychological thriller, Disclaimer, has me hooked like never before!

Friends and colleagues, take note. A word of caution: The eagerly anticipated seven-part limited series by Alfonso Cuarón for Apple TV+ now unveils its teaser trailer (as shown below).

A suspenseful movie crafted and led by an Academy Award-winning director (known for ‘Roma’ and ‘Gravity’), features award-winning actors Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline, and is adapted from the top-selling book of the same title penned by Renée Knight.

The Apple Studios series, divided into seven parts, is set to debut on October 11, starting with the first two installments. Subsequent episodes will be released every Friday thereafter. This is Alfonso Cuarón’s inaugural television project under his multi-show agreement with the streaming platform.

Title Synopsis: “Renowned reporter Catherine Ravenscroft, portrayed by Cate Blanchett, is known for exposing the wrongdoings of others. However, her world turns upside down when she finds herself as the protagonist in an anonymous novel that lays bare her deepest secrets. With time running out, Catherine embarks on a desperate quest to unmask the author, all while grappling with her past and saving her relationships with husband Robert (Sacha Baron Cohen) and son Nicholas (Kodi Smit-McPhee) from impending collapse.”

The following actors make up part of the main cast: Lesley Manville, Louis Partridge, Leila George, Hoyeon, and Indira Varma, who serves as our storyteller.

As a film enthusiast with extensive knowledge of the industry, I find it fascinating to observe the collaborative efforts that go into creating a cinematic masterpiece. From my personal experience working on various productions, I understand the importance of having the right team behind a project. The collaboration between Esperanto Filmoj and Anonymous Content in producing “Disclaimer” is an excellent example of this principle.

A knight holds a joint role as co-producer. Lubezki and Bruno Delbonnel are responsible for the cinematography, while the music is created by Finneas O’Connell.
