The film titled “Deliver Me From Nowhere” is based on the same-named book detailing the inception of Bruce Springsteen’s iconic 1982 album, “Nebraska“. Scott Cooper, writer and director known for “Crazy Heart“, expressed his deep admiration for the album saying, “Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Nebraska‘ has significantly influenced my artistic perspective.” Although not one of Springsteen’s most commercially successful albums, it contains fan favorites like “Atlantic City” and the title track “Nebraska“, cherished by his devoted followers. Cooper further explained:
This album’s honest depiction of life’s struggles and triumphs strikes a chord within me. Our movie intends to mirror that sentiment, presenting Warren Zanes’ captivating account of Bruce’s life authentically and with optimism, while respecting Bruce’s memory in a moving cinematic journey.
