To mark its 30th anniversary, A Ma Manière is teaming up with Nike for an exclusive Air Max 95 collaboration, as revealed by sneaker account @riblets1218. They were given a pair of these upcoming collaborations and they described the design as “Hand Wash Cold”. This label goes beyond just cleaning directions for James Whitner, founder of A Ma Maniére, who sees it as a symbol of his brand’s philosophy of care, respect, and durability. The shoe is crafted using premium suede, leather, and textured layers, reflecting this ethos. The color scheme consists of a muted taupe and phantom palette, with a gradient upper that includes stitching details and laundry symbols on the heel emphasizing the “Hand Wash Cold” instructions. Nike’s Swoosh logo is embroidered on the lateral heel, while the A Ma Maniére branding appears on the tongue and toe caps. The shoe rests on an aged midsole, contrasted by a subtle pink Swoosh embroidery.
