First Look at the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Year of the Snake”

As a seasoned sneakerhead with over two decades of collecting under my belt, I can confidently say that the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Year of the Snake” is a must-have for any serious collector. With its stunning metallic silver overlays and iridescent detailing at the heel’s Wings logo, this pair is sure to turn heads. The off-white midsole and semi-translucent outsole add an element of sophistication that sets it apart from other releases.

Product: Air Jordan 1 Low OG (Year of the Snake)

Each year, Jordan Brand traditionally creates unique color schemes for well-liked Air Jordan models in celebration of Lunar New Year, and this practice is set to continue. As always, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG will be included, adorning a design symbolizing “Year of the Snake” this time around.

In our first glance at the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Year of the Snake”, it appears that the shoe starts with a “Summit White” leather foundation. The overlays are embellished with metallic silver, while the Swooshes have a more vibrant tone. A midsole in an off-white shade sits atop a semi-transparent outsole. Additionally, the heel’s Wings logo features iridescent detailing. The shoe is completed by a special Jumpman hangtag with a black snakeskin base.

Currently, Jordan Brand hasn’t disclosed specifics about its upcoming “Year of the Snake” series, which features this Air Jordan 1 Low OG colorway. Keep an eye out for future announcements, including potential images of the shoes, as we anticipate their release in early 2025 on Nike SNKRS and selected retailers at a starting price of $160 USD.
