As a seasoned sneakerhead with over two decades of collecting under my belt, I can confidently say that the Air Jordan 3 “Rare Air” is a sight for sore eyes. With its striking colorway and intricate details, it’s clear that this pair is set to make waves in the sneaker community. The flipped Nike Air branding at the heel and the subtle blue and gray notes throughout the upper add a touch of elegance that I find quite appealing.
Product Name: Air Jordan 3 – “Rare Air
As we get closer to 2025, we’re slowly filling out its schedule with upcoming releases, thanks to fresh leaks and whispers in the air. For Jordan Brand, it seems that “Rare Air” editions of both the Air Jordan 4 and Air Jordan 3 are expected to hit the market in the coming year. These predictions were first made back in May and have recently resurfaced.
Recently seen, the Air Jordan 3 “Rare Air” shares a similar structure with its Air Jordan 4 counterpart, but instead of having detachable branded tongue pieces, it sports reversed Nike Air branding in red on the heel. The overall design also incorporates a predominantly black upper with accents of blue and gray. A pop of red is noticeable on the Jumpman logo at the tongue, while white reappears at the midsole.
Currently, there’s no information available from Jordan Brand about this “Rare Air” version of the Air Jordan 3. Keep an eye out for updates, including a comprehensive look at the shoes, as we anticipate their release next summer through Nike SNKRS and various retailers, priced around $210 USD.
