In 2024, we’re celebrating the 20th anniversary of this amazing collaboration! While we won’t see the full collection until October, a sneak peek of an upcoming Air Jordan 6 has already leaked out. I can’t wait to see what these talented kids have come up with for this special milestone!
Since 2009, when then-12-year-old Jordan Dark collaborated to create a pair for the Doernbecher collection, this fresh interpretation of Michael Jordan’s sixth signature shoe showcases a whimsical pastel style with pink and teal accents over a white leather foundation. Notable features include heart-shaped alterations on the midfoot and collar, replacing the usual circular embellishments. A single gold heart is positioned below the middle eyelet, suggesting possible customization options, and it seems there might be a Velcro patch on the collar as well.
On October 18th, we can anticipate the unveiling of the Air Jordan 6, together with the 2024 Doernbecher Freestyle series which includes an Air Max Sunder, Air 180, two color variations of the Air Max Dn, and an Air Pegasus 41. These sneakers are expected to be released before the end of this year.
