About a week ago, we got our first sneak peek at the New Balance 2000 – a contemporary running shoe from the sports apparel company that made waves with its debut in a blue and off-white color scheme. Now, another new design, set to join New Balance’s lifestyle collection this year, has been revealed – the New Balance 2010 model.
The 2010 running model is depicted with an autumn-inspired color scheme of brown and gray. It seems to employ a mixed construction, with a mesh foundation in a taupe tone, synthetic layers, gray overlays, and suede accents in a rusty orange hue. Typical of New Balance designs, the brand name appears on both sides of the sneaker, while “NB” can be found on the tongue. The sole unit, also gray and green, incorporates ABZORB foam cushioning for added comfort, completing the shoe’s design.
As I’m typing this, New Balance hasn’t shared any specifics about the launch of their 2010 sneaker model yet. Keep an eye out for future announcements, including a reveal of the shoe design, as it’s expected to be released by the end of the year through both New Balance and select retailers.
