Nearly ten years have passed since the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Chicago” was last unveiled, but it seems that wait for its reappearance might be ending soon. There’s talk in the air that this iconic low-top sneaker designed for Michael Jordan will make a comeback in autumn of 2025.
The upcoming “Chicago” edition is said to sport a color scheme of Black, Muslin, and Varsity Red. This could mean that the shoe may include worn-out details similar to the acclaimed Air Jordan 1 “Chicago Reimagined” from 2022. If it’s true, the “Chicago” will be among several low-cut Air Jordan 1s set for release in 2025. Also anticipated are an Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Phantom” and a fragment design x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG.
If or when the classic “Chicago” version of the Air Jordan 1 Low reappears on store shelves, it will symbolize the style’s comeback to the market since 2016, a year that saw multiple OG Air Jordan 1 Low colorways being released by Jordan Brand.
