First Looks at the Air Jordan 1 High OG Rare Air "Cinnabar" and "Deep Royal Blue"

As a long-time sneakerhead who has been collecting Jordans for over two decades now, I can confidently say that these Air Jordan 1 High OG Rare Air “Cinnabar” and “Deep Royal Blue” are truly a sight to behold! The fusion of classic design with contemporary colorways is just phenomenal.

Product Name: Air Jordan 1 High OG Rare Air, available in two color options – “Cinnabar” and “Deep Royal Blue

Although the Air Jordan 1 might not hold as much value as it did a few years back, Jordan Brand appears determined to revive its popularity next year by unveiling an impressive array of unique designs to mark its 40th anniversary. In fact, this month alone, whispers of Off-White™ and fragment design x Union LA collaborations on the sneaker have surfaced as potential upcoming projects from reliable sources. To add to the excitement, the “Rare Air” series, which previously featured Air Jordan 3s and Air Jordan 4s in September, is set to grow with two Air Jordan 1 High OG models.

Showing up in “Cinnabar” and “Deep Royal Blue,” a fresh take on the popular high-top sneaker arrives in these new colorways. The “Cinnabar” edition features a combination of white, gray, red, off-white at the midsole, and black at the medial collar’s Nike Air Wings logo across its upper. A unique Rare Air sockliner design is also incorporated into this version. For the “Deep Royal Blue” version, the Nike Air Wings logo reappears on the lateral collar of the left shoe. This color scheme includes white, blue, gray, off-white, black, and a red base layer for the Swooshes that can be exposed with wear.

Currently, Jordan Brand has yet to announce any release dates for the “Cinnabar” and “Deep Royal Blue” color variations of the Air Jordan 1 High OG Rare Air. Keep an eye out for further news, including potential sneak peeks of the shoes, as it is anticipated that they will become available in April 2025 through Nike SNKRS and various authorized retailers at a starting price of $180 USD each.
