As a devoted admirer, I’d put it this way: There’s no denying Big Duck Games have a knack for identifying the right niches and making the most of them. A prime example is the launch of Flow Free: Shapes, their latest addition to the Flow series – a testament to their insightful game development strategy.
As a gamer, here’s my take on explaining it: Essentially, it’s a colorful brain teaser about pipes. The goal is to connect different colored lines to create uninterrupted paths for one of the flowing liquids. Each level requires careful planning and execution to ensure that no pipe carries more than one liquid at a time. It’s challenging yet fun, pushing your problem-solving skills to the limit!
In the series, Flow Free: Shapes is one of several titles, with variations like Bridges, Hexes, and Warps. As you would guess, the main idea in this installment involves guiding liquid flows around diverse geometric forms. With more than 4000 free challenges, you can either race against time in Time Trial mode or attempt new Daily Puzzles that have been recently incorporated.

Flow Free: Shapes offers little in terms of description, yet that’s a positive aspect. As suggested by its name, it delivers the classic Flow Free experience, but with grids tailored around various shapes. However, my one issue arises from the fact that breaking up a single series into distinct entries based on format seems somewhat redundant.
