As a long-time enthusiast and collector of all things Jurassic, I must say that this new popcorn bucket from Universal Studios Florida has truly captured my heart! The adorable baby Blue the Velociraptor nestled inside a Gyrosphere is not just aesthetically pleasing but also serves as a delightful nod to the beloved franchise.
Hi there friends and bookworms! Today, let’s delve into a familiar topic on TopMob – popcorn buckets. Contrary to popular belief, this isn’t a tale about the risqué collectibles inspired by the 2024 film lineup, like the infamous Deadpool & Wolverine bucket. Instead, I’m excited to share some fresh news: Universal Studios Florida has joined the fray with a novelty Jurassic World item! The design is based on the Gyrosphere from the imaginary theme park featured in the films.
However, there’s one key aspect that makes this prehistoric popcorn vessel something I’d gladly purchase to keep in my own collection. Prepare for some Jurassic aww:
As a die-hard fan of the Jurassic Park Universe and all things cute, let me tell you, nothing gets my heart racing like a baby Blue the Velociraptor snuggled up on a Gyrosphere! Sure, there’s been loads of merchandise from that epic movie franchise at Universal parks, but this little guy takes the cake as the cutest item yet.
1) This delicious treat with added fresh popcorn upon purchase has definitely won over my affection, making it even more irresistible. If only they could have included mini dinosaur toys as guardians for a child’s popcorn stash to enhance the experience!
Given that the second season of “Jurassic World: Chaos Theory” is set to premiere on Netflix’s 2024 movie and TV schedule in October, it’s reasonable to assume that the beloved dinosaur from the series, Bumpy the Ankylosaurus, would be a strong contender for a special appearance. Although she has matured since her initial introduction in “Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous“, wouldn’t fans delight in a nostalgic nod to her youthful years, perhaps even featuring her engaging in some playful popcorn bucket tossing?
If Blue proves popular enough, we might soon welcome additional charming dinosaur friends in our future. Given that Gareth Edwards’ next installment for Jurassic World Rebirth is confirmed to be part of the 2025 film lineup, it won’t be too far off until even more dinosaur chaos erupts.
With this unintentional reminder of that fact hitting Universal Studios Florida, I can now only hope that the Scarlett Johansson-starring picture will inspire even cooler and/or cuter popcorn buckets for when that movie arrives in theaters. That gives Universal and its marketing partners until July 2, 2025 to dream up something awesome.
Although it may seem unlikely, I am confident that this franchise, which has shown us the lesson that if something is valuable, a way will always be found to achieve it, is indeed the one. Now, if you don’t mind, I must begin composing emails to Universal Parks and Experiences in hopes of receiving one of these treasured items for my personal delight.
