Fox Cooks Up Yet Another Gordon Ramsay Series

Fox and Gordon Ramsay are joining forces again for a new, unscripted food series, making it their seventh collaboration on this particular network.

The upcoming series debuting on May 21 is titled “Gordon Ramsay’s Undercover Restaurant Rescue“. It’s a fresh take on the classic format of “Kitchen Nightmares“, where Gordon Ramsay helps struggling restaurants by exposing kitchen issues, but in this version, he will secretly enter the restaurant before offering assistance.

In this show, the narrator, who’s got an inside source keeping things under wraps, collects unedited proof about the main challenges each restaurant faces. This secret informant remains hidden from the staff and aids Ramsay in covertly exploring the restaurants after hours for a thrilling night-time investigation using black light. This exploration often exposes more dirt and grime than ever seen before. By the time Ramsay unmasks himself, it will be too late for the staff to conceal their kitchen misdeeds.

Throughout my gaming journey, I’ve joined countless thrilling escapades with my comrades at Fox. But none have been as exhilarating as the one we’re embarking on now – ‘Secret Service’. With covert assistance and advanced tech at my disposal, I can dive headfirst into the world of espionage, making those restaurants my unsuspecting targets.

The newest show, “Secret Service,” joins Fox’s collection of shows within the Ramsay-verse, which currently consists of six series: “Food Stars,” “Hell’s Kitchen,” “Kitchen Nightmares,” “Masterchef” (recently renewed for a 15th season, set to air in the summer), “Masterchef Junior,” and “Next Level Chef.” In 2024, Fox had a Ramsay-led show on air for 47 out of 52 weeks, and they’ve maintained that pace with one show every week so far in 2025. Additionally, Fox and Ramsay’s Studio Ramsay Global are collaborating to launch a digital brand focusing on culinary and entertainment, named Bite.

Michael Thorn, president of Fox Television Network, praised Gordon as one of the most productive creative minds in television history, boasting an extraordinary following. His boundless talent breathes life into each series, giving them unique and captivating characteristics, as well as high-stakes drama that sets him apart. This impressive new idea he’s come up with is sure to maintain his fans’ undying interest,” said Thorn.

Studio Ramsay Global, in partnership with Fox Alternative Entertainment, is responsible for creating “Gordon Ramsay’s Undercover Chef.” Gordon Ramsay and showrunner Bill Langworthy serve as the series’ executive producers.
