Frasier Season 2 First Look Reveals a Beloved Original Characters Return

As a die-hard Frasier fan who’s seen every episode more times than I care to admit, these new images from Season 2 are like a breath of fresh air! The return of Roz Doyle is a delightful surprise, and the hint of a possible romance between her and Frasier? Oh, the suspense is killing me!

A multitude of fresh pictures for the eagerly awaited second season of Frasier have been disclosed, featuring the comeback of a cherished character alongside Kelsey Grammer. Courtesy of EW, these new Season 2 photos give us our first glimpse at Peri Gilpin reprising her role as Roz Doyle, one of Frasier’s oldest and dearest friends. One image even seems to suggest the possibility of a romantic connection between them. You can see the newly unveiled images from Frasier Season 2 below:

Although specific storylines are being kept secret for the moment, the released images provide some hints about where the psychiatrist’s tumultuous journey might lead next. The scenes show Roz frequenting Frasier’s latest watering hole, Mahoney’s. They also offer glimpses of Freddy (Jack Cutmore-Scott) aiding Eve (Jess Salgueiro) in childcare for her baby, David (Anders Keith) causing chaos in the kitchen, and Frasier donning costumes to host yet another potentially disastrous dinner party. One would think he’d have learned from past experiences…

The most shocking image, though, appears to show Frasier and Roz canoodling. While this would not be the first time the two have locked lips (and then some), it would still be a surprise to learn that the two have harbored feelings for each other for all this time.

Frasier Season 2 Will Feature a Whole Host of Crowd-Pleasing Guest Stars

In Season 2 of Frasier, Roz won’t be the sole reminiscence from the past. The show will bring back the good doctor to his roots at KACL radio station, where he revisits Seattle and interacts with characters like Dan Butler as Bob “Bulldog” Briscoe, Edward Hibbert as Gil Chesterton, and Harriet Sansom Harris as Bebe Glazer, Frasier’s charmingly mischievous agent. In a statement, Grammer expressed his delight over their comeback, saying:

“It’s a genuine delight to have Dan Butler and Edward Hibbert returning to Frasier! Their impact on TV is unforgettable, and I’m thrilled that we get to collaborate again.”

The continuation of the acclaimed sitcom “Frasier,” initially aired from 1993 to 2004, brings back Kelsey Grammer as Frasier Crane. In this new series, viewers will follow Frasier in the next phase of his life, where he moves back to Boston to encounter fresh challenges, form new connections, and possibly accomplish some long-held dreams. Grammer hinted at an exciting second season during his conversation with Yahoo Canada, suggesting that the scripts match or even surpass the quality we saw on the original show.

“The fresh combination of actors is truly captivating. They’re growing more cohesive with each passing day. During their initial and subsequent performances, I couldn’t help but think, ‘They’re really finding their rhythm.’ It’s incredibly amusing, and they seem to have found their stride. Each character now appears fully fleshed out. Whenever I watch Alan Cornwall or Nicholas Lyndhurst, I find myself eagerly anticipating their next lines, knowing that they will deliver something remarkable.”
