As a concert-goer with years of music festival attendance under my belt, let me tell you, the recent collaboration between Freddie Gibbs and Madlib at the Los Angeles Greek Theatre was nothing short of electrifying! The icing on the cake? None other than the enchanting Clairo graced the stage with her mesmerizing performance.
Freddie Gibbs and Madlib enjoy hanging out with Clairo. The rap pair, who are celebrating a decade of their successful joint album “Piñata” on a special tour called “Teñata,” invited the singer-songwriter to perform during their shows in New York City and Los Angeles.
Last night at the Greek Theatre, Gibbs astonished the audience by bringing Clairo on stage, where she performed her song “Terrapin” from the album Charm – a piece she also showcased during the Teñata NYC concert. Beyond that track, Clairo lent her talents to “Crime Pays,” and provided occasional background vocals and tambourine accompaniment throughout the entire performance.
Clairo’s album “Charm”, entirely produced by El Michels Affair, has invited the rap duo to join them during their special anniversary tour performances. This tour has made additional stops in cities like Boston and Chicago as well.
