Full album release schedule for July 2025 includes several gems

heads up: You might not find as many high-quality, groundbreaking new albums in July compared to May and June. This is because July starts with a national holiday, and most record releases occur on Fridays. Consequently, there’s only one album dropping on the first Friday of the month.

In July, some well-established artists are releasing new albums. Many of these are fresh releases, but one is actually a revamped version of classic tunes. This month is likely to cater more to familiar faces rather than introducing new ones.

It may not seem like it, but July is still going to be an enjoyable month. However, compared to other months, it might feel a bit more relaxed as we gear up for the later part of summer. But don’t worry, there will be plenty of beauty to appreciate.

Full album release for July 2025

July 4

  • Kesha – (PERIOD)

Since it was a holiday on July 4th, there were rarely going to be many scheduled releases. With your cookout all set, you might not feel inclined to incorporate additional music. Moreover, considering Kesha’s declining album sales since her debut in 2010 (Animal), you may not want to include her latest release in the event.

July 11

  • Allo Darlin’ – Bright Nights
  • Barry Can’t Swim – Loner
  • Burna Boy – No Sign Of Weakness
  • Clipse – Let God Sort Em Out
  • Gina Birch – Trouble
  • Gwenno – Utopia
  • Kokoroko – Tuff Times Never Last
  • Mark Stewart – The Fateful Symmetry
  • MF Tomlinson – Die To Wake Up From A Dream
  • Noah Cyrus – I WANT MY LOVED ONES TO GO WITH ME
  • Ólafur Arnalds – A Dawning
  • Wet Leg – moisturizer

This week has been incredibly engaging with its musical offerings. Burna Boy’s latest release promises to be fantastic, given that all his work has been top-notch so far. Wet Leg’s second album has already dropped several singles, each of which is impressive, suggesting the full album will deliver the same quality.

July 18

  • Alex G – Headlights
  • Billie Marten – Dog Eared
  • Bush – I Beat Loneliness
  • Daron Malakian And Scars On Broadway – Addicted To The Violence
  • FLETCHER – Would You Still Love Me If You Knew Me?
  • Forth Wanderers – The Longer This Goes On
  • Jade Bird – Who Wants To Talk About Love
  • Joe Bonamassa – Breakthrough
  • Laura Jane Grace – Adventure Club
  • Lord Huron – The Cosmic Selector Vol. 1
  • Styx – Circling From Above
  • We Are Scientists – Qualifying Mile

Bush’s latest album title appears somewhat melancholic. Regardless, I’m joyful for them. However, its straightforwardness makes one question its accuracy. Moreover, the name “Styx” is intriguing.

The title of Bush’s new record seems rather sad to me. Despite my happiness for them, it seems too simple and might leave some doubting its truthfulness. Additionally, their choice of naming it “Styx” piques my interest.

July 25

  • Alice Cooper – The Revenge Of Alice Cooper
  • Indigo De Souza – Precipice
  • Irvine Welsh And The Sci-Fi Soul Orchestra – Men In Love
  • Madonna – Veronica Electronica
  • Michael Clifford – Sidequest
  • Night Moves – Double Life
  • Patty Griffin – Crown Of Roses
  • Paul Weller – Find El Dorado
  • Post Animal – IRON
  • The Band Camino – NeverAlways
  • The Dirty Nil – The Lash
  • Tyler Childers – Snipe Hunter
  • Zac Farro – Operator

Scottish novelist Irvine Welsh, famously known for works like “Trainspotting,” is stepping into the music scene with his first album. It’s uncertain what musical style this release will embody, but the title certainly piques interest.

Paul Weller and Patty Griffin, with their long-standing experience, are undoubtedly strong contenders for the top spot. As for Madonna, while her work may not be entirely fresh, it consists mainly of remixes.
