Full WrestleMania 41 Predictions Including John Cena, Cody Rhodes And Roman Reigns

This week marks the much-anticipated WrestleMania period, and I’m absolutely buzzing with excitement! Although the Royal Rumble holds a special place in my heart as my top pay-per-view event, nothing compares to WrestleMania in terms of importance. When someone who isn’t familiar with professional wrestling asks me to explain what it’s all about, I always begin with WrestleMania because it’s the one event that most people have at least a vague idea of. In layman’s terms, you could compare it to the season finale on television.

At WrestleMania, the events, narratives, and developments from an entire year are intended to culminate and offer closure on previous storylines. This event serves as a platform to introduce the key players who will shape the future of wrestling. In a unique way that only wrestling enthusiasts can appreciate, it carries significant weight. Simply making the card is a notable achievement, and every moment at WrestleMania matters significantly. The spectacle is destined to be replayed and remembered for years to come.

This year is no different from the others. With over three decades in the wrestling industry, John Cena has often played the good guy role, but this time around, he’s been granted the opportunity to portray a villain – a role he’s embraced wholeheartedly during his rivalry with WWE’s leading hero, Cody Rhodes. They’ll be the main event for night two of the show, but there are numerous other big-name wrestlers on the roster as well, such as Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Drew McIntyre, Iyo Sky, Charlotte Flair, Gunther and many more.

Prior to discussing my thoughts on upcoming events, I’d like to share with you my past performance in predicting WrestleManias, along with my overall track record, since I’ve successfully forecasted every WWE Premium Live Event for the past three years.

The War Raiders (Champions) Vs The New Day For The World Tag Team Championships

In simpler terms, it seems that I’m puzzled about Triple H’s current role here. Most Twitter fans, with a few exceptions, have been quite critical of this year’s WrestleMania build-up, but this is one storyline that I believe warrants more criticism. The New Day were incredibly popular when they turned heel. The segment where they kicked Big E out was fantastic and one of the best promos we’ve seen in a while. However, the writers took too long to act on them after that. They just kept delivering the same generic heel promo week after week, even having them lose some matches. Now they’re trying to reignite their heat, but the passion seems to have dwindled.

Without a doubt, The War Raiders stand out as exceptional in-ring tag team performers across the WWE roster, and The New Day are destined for the Hall of Fame. This upcoming match promises excitement, and the crowd’s enthusiasm will surely build up. There are two potential outcomes: either The New Day will employ underhanded tactics to reclaim the tag team titles, or they may lose due to interference from Big E. I’m leaning towards the former scenario, but be on the lookout for the latter as well.

Predicted Winners: The New Day

Rey Mysterio Vs El Grande Americano

Remarkably and captivatingly, this contest embodies the essence of professional wrestling. Rey Mysterio, a WWE Hall of Famer and perhaps the most recognized luchador globally within the U.S., faces off against Chad Gable, a mid-carder in WWE. In an attempt to outperform him, Gable vanished for several weeks before reappearing as El Grande Americano, a masked luchador. He insists he’s not Chad Gable but rather a distinct wrestler who has conquered every title Mexico’s wrestling scene offers.

Lately, several WWE legends have taken to Twitter, expressing their view that it’s unjust for El Grande Americano to compete while Chad Gable doesn’t. In a recent event, the audience even launched an iconic chant, with some shouting “That’s Chad Gable!” and others countering “No, he isn’t.” This bizarre situation is both absurdly ridiculous yet incredibly fitting in a uniquely professional wrestling context.

In summary, it seems that Rey Mysterio will emerge victorious in this match. Later on, I’m speculating that El Grande Americano’s mask might be removed, revealing the identity of Chad Gable beneath, although there’s always a possibility that someone else is hiding under there instead.

Predicted Winner: Rey Mysterio.

Jade Cargill Vs Naomi

It’s been quite some time since we’ve had a regular women’s singles match at WrestleMania, but this one deserves its place due to a compelling narrative that’s developed gradually over the past year and some exceptional character development, especially from Naomi. At WrestleMania 40, Cargill, Naomi, and Bianca Belair teamed up for a powerful win against Damage CTRL. Since then, they’ve unfolded a tale of friendship and betrayal, with both women partnering with friend Bianca Belair to capture the tag team titles, which sparked jealousy that eventually led to Naomi attacking Jade.

It seems quite likely that Jade will emerge victorious in this match. Ever since she joined WWE, she’s been groomed as a leading talent, often appearing in main events. She’s also been shielded from significant losses more than other superstars on the roster. A defeat here could damage her reputation, but it might further boost Naomi, fueling her growing heel persona that has garnered attention over the past few months. In fact, I anticipate WWE may seriously consider Jade for a potential win in the Money In The Bank event later on.

Predicted Winner: Jade Cargill

LA Knight (Champ) Vs Jacob Fatu For The United States Championship

The outcome of this match is largely influenced by WWE’s plans for Jacob Fatu. Regardless of fan opinion, Triple H and his team seem to categorize LA Knight as a middle-tier superstar. This type of performer typically defeats most other wrestlers but falls short against top-tier talent in World Title matches – the true main eventers. Therefore, whether he wins, loses or draws, we can expect him to keep delivering hard-hitting moves to mid-card competitors.

As a dedicated fan, I strongly believe Jacob Fatu won’t stay on the sidelines for long; he’s bound to make a significant impact in the main event scene sooner rather than later. Despite his villainous persona, there’s an undeniable electric energy that surrounds him whenever he steps into the ring. Many fans and experts alike view him as a potential future WrestleMania headliner. So, the question becomes, how will WWE utilize this raw talent?

They could have him defeat LA Knight here, embarking on an extended run with the United States Championship. During this period, Fatu would likely demonstrate his dominance against most of the roster. Alternatively, they might orchestrate a loss for him in a crafty manner that sets up his next feud. This could possibly involve a sneaky interference attempt by his Bloodline comrade Solo Sikoa, which might lead to some underhanded tactics and an exciting new rivalry.

In the end, I believe they’ll likely aim for him to secure his first victory at WrestleMania and claim his initial singles championship. Consequently, that seems to be the more plausible outcome. However, there’s always a chance he might lose, but if that happens, it would probably be a loss that maintains his strong image.

Predicted Winner: Jacob Fatu

Tiffany Stratton (Champion) Vs Charlotte Flair For The WWE Women’s Championship

Let’s cut straight to the chase: The lead-up to this match has been nothing short of chaotic. It’s difficult for fans like us, without insider knowledge, to understand the full picture, but from where I stand, it appears that Charlotte Flair repeatedly deviated from the script and undermined Tiffany Stratton by stepping on her key lines until Stratton finally retaliated with some very pointed criticisms during a live broadcast.

The chaotic situation has infused some energy and intrigue into the game, yet it’s clear that both competitors have been portrayed negatively. Flair appears unprofessional and reluctant to assist one of the youngest players on the team, while Tiffy seems inexperienced and perhaps not fully prepared to hold the World Championship title. The outcome remains undecided from my perspective.

On Saturday, it’s uncertain if the match between Stratton and Flair will be a spectacular success or a disastrous failure. While both are exceptional workers, there’s a possibility they may clash instead of cooperating. The outcome could swing either way. Initially, I believed WWE would have Flair emerge victorious on this big stage to establish her as a major player, but her recent performances have been lackluster, with fumbled lines and signs of confusion. However, given the recent events, it seems questionable if WWE would reward Charlotte in such a manner, considering the impact it might have on the veterans in the locker room.

Predicted Winner: Tiffy Time

Gunther (Champion) Vs Jey Uso For The World Heavyweight Championship

Among all wrestlers, Gunther stands out as my top pick. He’s simply extraordinary, and his performance this past week on Raw served as a testament to why he’s destined for the Hall of Fame. I can’t help but hope he emerges victorious in upcoming matches, solidifying his status as an iconic villain who can trample any fan favorite, regardless of their popularity with the crowd. However, one has to wonder about Jey Uso if he succumbs to another significant defeat.

WWE has heavily backed Jey Uso and his narrative. He won arguably the most packed Royal Rumble ever contested. Despite some fans being hesitant about his storyline, they orchestrated a brutal attack by Gunther on Jimmy, which has led to him not being utilized at WrestleMania as an attempt to evoke sympathy. For months now, he’s been given customized entrances and substantial airtime on nearly every episode of Raw.

As a die-hard fan of wrestling, I can tell you that his current success has generated massive merchandise sales and a whole lot of YEET chants. However, if he were to lose in this upcoming match, it’s highly likely that it would halt his momentum significantly. He might find himself back in the mid-card, maybe even teaming up with his brother again. That’s not the end of the world, but there’s always a chance for redemption down the line. If he wants to make a solo run and establish himself as a singles wrestler, now is the time. That’s why I’m almost certain he’ll win this match.

Predicted Winner: Jey Uso

Roman Reigns Vs CM Punk Vs Seth Rollins

Opinions vary among fans about how successful the construction of the Paul Heyman match has turned out to be, but there’s no arguing about the sheer star power these three individuals possess. Each one could effortlessly make it onto a top ten list of wrestlers who have significantly shaped the post-Attitude Era. Moreover, they all share numerous professional relationships and personal connections.

Among these three contenders, I strongly believe Seth Rollins is the most likely to come out on top in this event. Compared to the other two, he has less entanglement with Paul Heyman matters, making his victory more impactful on a grand stage such as this one. Last year at WrestleMania, despite being injured, he selflessly put others ahead of himself by allowing them to shine, a gesture that deserves recognition. If CM Punk and Roman Reigns are set to maintain their ongoing rivalry, it seems fitting that Seth Rollins would be the one to break free with a win, thereby adding an intriguing twist to their storyline.

Predicted Winner: Seth Rollins

Liv Morgan And Raquel Rodriguez (Champions) Vs Bayley And Lyra Valkyria For The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

It seems that the ongoing plotline is centered around Bayley and Lyra Valkyria’s rivalry for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, rather than these teams competing over the Women’s Tag Team Championship. Recently, we witnessed Bayley hesitating to shake hands with Lyra after losing a few weeks ago, and although they worked well together during the gauntlet match, it is hard to imagine this tension won’t affect their relationship in the future.

Additionally, I can’t think of any grounds for Judgment Day to fall short in this contest. It seems likely that either Dominik or Finn will claim the Men’s Intercontinental Championship. If either one does, it would significantly boost Judgment Day’s status and help them regain prominence, even without Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest.

Predicted Winner: Liv & Raquel

AJ Styles Vs Logan Paul

It’s not entirely clear what narrative these two wrestlers are trying to convey, as the commentators and Karrion Kross suggest it revolves around the essence of wrestling, but AJ Styles and Logan Paul haven’t delved much into this theme through their microphone discussions. Instead, the match appears more like a display of skill, which is acceptable given the high caliber of these two performers. AJ Styles is widely regarded as one of the finest in-ring performers of his generation, and Paul has consistently demonstrated his ability to shine on big stages.

This match is hard to predict due to its simplicity in terms of narrative. AJ Styles seems to be on an upswing in his career, whereas Paul’s WrestleMania appearances are numbered. It’s possible that AJ might help Paul advance by winning, or Paul may choose to let AJ have a grand WrestleMania moment for a heroic send-off. However, I’m leaning towards AJ Styles because it seems like he hasn’t had a significant win like this in quite some time, but my confidence isn’t high either way.

Predicted Winner: AJ Styles

Bron Breakker (Champion) Vs Penta Vs Dominik Mysterio Vs Finn Bálor For The Intercontinental Championship

In this multi-person match, none of the four contenders appear to be clear underdogs. Typically, some participants are evidently not winning, but here, everyone seems equally capable. Bron has been dominating since reclaiming his Intercontinental Championship and is seen as WWE’s rising young superstar with a promising future. On the other hand, Penta is one of WWE’s most popular characters currently, receiving special attention, suggesting that either Mysterio or Bálor could emerge victorious. This could potentially set up a rivalry between them, offering numerous storylines for WWE to develop over the next few months.

I’m planning to side with Dominik Mysterio. I believe he deserves recognition for his exceptional villainous performances in recent years, and winning a title would elevate his character even further. While he may not be as dominant as Gunther or Bron Breakker, a storyline where he cheats to win could result in numerous victories over the following months. This would amplify the intense animosity towards him, which could transform WWE’s dependable mid-card character into a star.

Predicted Winner: Dominik Mysterio

Damian Priest Vs Drew McIntyre

I’m a big fan of Damian Priest. From the moment he joined the main roster, I believed he had the potential to become a World Champion someday, and I’ve been thrilled watching his career progress. The way he cashed in on Drew McIntyre during WrestleMania 37 was my absolute favorite moment of that year’s event. He’s my favorite wrestler, and this match won’t alter that fact.

Drew McIntyre must emerge victorious in this bout. He has the potential to become WWE’s top superstar, with his recent work being the pinnacle of his career thus far. I believe he could reclaim the championship and deliver an unforgettable title run. This process begins with defeating Priest here. I should clarify that I hope the match is intense and both competitors shine, but the outcome seems inevitable. McIntyre requires a victory to settle this feud and regain momentum.

Predicted Winner: Drew McIntyre

Iyo Sky (Champion) Vs Rhea Ripley Vs Bianca Belair For The Women’s World Championship

In my view, this contest is the one with the least expected outcome among all others. It might seem that the classic triple threat scenario will unfold here, where Rhea and Bianca will primarily engage each other, thus creating an opportunity for Iyo to capitalize and win while their attention is diverted. While that’s a plausible scenario, it’s not the only possibility.

It’s possible to express the statement as follows: Bianca appears likely to win, considering her impressive undefeated streak at WrestleMania and the potential for her character to become a villain (heel). This transition could be intriguing, given she has been booed despite being a hero (face) in this program. Moreover, a rivalry with Jade Cargill could follow, which might generate substantial revenue for WWE if they organize championship matches.

Rhea is expected to claim victory due to her status as the most prominent female wrestling star ever. Throughout the ongoing feud, she’s been acting like a villain, yet fans continue to root for her because of her remarkable stardom. Given her popularity, it makes sense that WWE would choose her for the title since Hulk Hogan, John Cena, and others often held the championship for extended periods due to their high profile in the industry.

I’ll choose Bianca since I prefer maintaining a winning record, however, my certainty isn’t particularly strong in this case.

Predicted Winner: Bianca Belair

Cody Rhodes (Champion) Vs John Cena For The WWE Championship

A considerable number of spectators believe Cody Rhodes will emerge victorious in this match, but I’m skeptical about that outcome. John Cena recently executed an immense and startling villainous transformation, arguably one of the most significant in wrestling history. To maintain this momentum, he needs to secure a win here. If he manages to do so and still loses, it might make him appear rather foolish, and I’m not convinced that he has enough performances remaining this year to fully recover from such a loss.

As a passionate movie-goer, I’m convinced that John Cena will pull off a victory at WrestleMania, though it might not be a fair fight. The way things are shaping up, it seems like he’ll employ some sneaky moves to emerge victorious. This win would break Ric Flair’s record for World Championships, offering WWE a wealth of intriguing narratives for the remainder of the year. Frankly, I can hardly contain my excitement about witnessing this momentous event unfold!

Predicted Winner: John Cena
