Garcelle Beauvais Exits ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Ahead of Finale Airing

Garcelle Beauvais is exiting The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

On Tuesday, prior to the finale of the 14th season on Bravo, the star personally shared the news in an Instagram video. In this video, she explained that commitments to her family and external acting and producing projects were the reasons behind her departure. However, she hinted at a potential return to the show in the future.

Bravo has announced to The Hollywood Reporter that she is voluntarily departing, as a reliable source also informed THR.

Beauvais shared some news in her video: “I’m moving on from Beverly Hills, it’s been quite a journey. There have been incredible moments and challenging ones too, but it’s all part of the experience. My main reason for leaving is my family – my boys are in their final year of high school next year, and I don’t want to miss out on that milestone. Plus, Jade is embarking on a new career path, and I want to support her in that. Additionally, I have some thrilling projects in the works – producing, acting, and developing them – which I can’t reveal just yet, but you’ll find out soon.

In a video she posted, Beauvais – who joined the show in 2020 – expressed gratitude to Andy Cohen, Bravo, NBCUniversal, Evolution, 32 Flavors, the production team and “notably, the ladies.” She also mentioned that Andy Cohen had invited her to return whenever she likes, hinting that there might be a possibility of her reappearance in the future.

Apart from expressing her gratitude, she said, “You’ve been my cheerleaders, standing by me through thick and thin, even taking up fights for me when needed. That means a great deal to me. I hope we can keep going on this adventure together. It’s not farewell, it’s till next time — so until then.

Beauvais’ departure was announced close to a month following the completion of the 14th season’s filming. The cast finished shooting the reunion episode on February 28, with the reunion specials set to premiere within the upcoming week.

Beauvais’ remarks about fan support appear to be related to the backing she’s received during her conflicts with fellow cast members, along with the backlash her teenage son faced online in season 12. More recently, Beauvais has been concentrating on her career as a Hollywood producer, collaborating with Lifetime for TV movies like “Black Girl Missing” and “Terry McMillan Presents: Tempted By Love”. Prior to this, she’s had roles in movies such as “Spider-Man: Homecoming” and “Coming 2 America”.

Besides Beauvais, the main cast of RHOBH’s season 14 includes Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, Sutton Stracke, Bozoma Saint John, with Kathy Hilton and Jennifer Tilly appearing frequently as recurring stars.
