Many well-known figures from Bollywood such as Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Helen, the family of Salim and Salma Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Ananya and Chunky Panday, Kriti Sanon, Dia Mirza, Arpita Khan Sharma, Farah Khan, Rohit Dhawan, and numerous others attended to offer their support to the family during the prayer service for the deceased. The autopsy report indicated that Mehta passed away due to multiple injuries.
