Gene Hackman & Wife’s Deaths: Shocking New Details Emerge

According to recent findings from a medical expert, it’s thought that he passed away a week following the death of his wife, Betsy Arakawa.

Over the past week, various potential reasons for the couple’s demise have been explored, but it appears that Arakawa likely succumbed to hantavirus. Hackman experienced cardiovascular disease as his primary cause of death; however, Alzheimer’s disease was a notable secondary factor. The couple were discovered deceased on February 26, with Hackman’s pacemaker records suggesting he passed away on the 17th of February. It is speculated that Arakawa may have died as early as February 11th.

During a press conference on Friday, Santa Fe Sheriff Adan Mendoza shared some insights. He mentioned that Arakawa was caught on camera doing errands on February 11th. Additionally, she communicated with her therapist via email on the same day. At 5:15 in the afternoon, she was spotted returning to the couple’s residence in her vehicle, and this was the last activity captured in any form.

As per Heather Jarrell, who serves as the head medical examiner at the New Mexico Office of the Medical Investigator, it was found that Hackman suffered from a progressed stage of Alzheimer’s disease. Moreover, he had previous episodes of heart attacks and was battling severe heart ailments.
