As a gamer who has grown up watching George Clooney movies and admiring his wit and charm, I can’t help but feel like a proud parent as I read about his twins, Alexander and Ella, following in their father’s footsteps – or should I say, prank steps. It seems that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree with this family!
Enthusiasts of George Clooney seem to be eagerly anticipating his upcoming film, “Wolfs,” on the 2024 movie schedule, which is an Apple Original production. As the one-week theatrical run concludes, the film will become accessible to a broader audience yearning for more humor in Clooney’s signature style. However, it appears that he may face some competition in this genre, as his twins with wife Amal Clooney seem to be following in their father’s comedic footsteps.
During the 3rd annual Clooney Foundation for Justice’s Albie Awards, ET had a chance encounter with the couple. The topic of George Clooney’s history of playing pranks on friends and colleagues came up during their conversation as they made their way into the New York City gala. When asked if their twins Alexander and Ella have followed in their father’s footsteps, Amal gracefully shared the following response:
My boy has items typically used in movie-making, such as phony roaches and mice, plus he owns a 3D printer. Consequently, the odd things I keep discovering around my paperwork and pillows leave me puzzled. Moreover, whenever Alexander plays his pranks on George, and George catches him, he simply looks at him with a sense of pride, saying, ‘Son, I’m so proud of you.’
To put it simply, it’s no secret that this Academy Award-winning charmer takes such matters seriously. An incident involving a harmless joke by Brad Pitt serves as an example. During the filming of “Ocean’s 12,” Clooney was understandably upset when he was unintentionally excluded from the set, all thanks to a prank pulled by Pitt and the crew.
When he added his comment, acknowledging that Alexander and Ella are blossoming troublemakers, it’s a sign that they haven’t quite crossed the line into being too mischievous. As for the potential return of Ocean’s 14, who can predict where things will stand when that happens?
Ella and Alexander Clooney, who are currently 7 years old, appear to be engaging in quite sophisticated mischief considering their age, as they tinker with 3D printers. At present, they’re creating fake mice and cockroaches for pranks, but who knows what they might concoct a few years down the line that rivals the audacity of when George Clooney once utilized Brad Pitt’s office supplies to pull a trick on Tom Cruise.
It’s a possibility that will probably cause school administrators to closely examine every letter they receive from the family with added caution. Speaking of which, did George Clooney verify that recent “Ocean’s 14” script and ensure it was from a reliable source?
In the Clooney clan, comedy is undeniably one of their long-standing family ventures, and this fact becomes evident as “Wolves” premieres on streaming platforms! For those of you fortunate enough to have an Apple TV+ subscription, you can now witness George Clooney sharing the screen once more with Brad Pitt in the witty crime comedy directed by Jon Watts.
