As a film enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that this March, I’ll have the chance to expand my collection with an exclusive popcorn bucket themed around the upcoming “Snow White” movie starring Gal Gadot and Rachel Zegler. The bucket will resemble a mining cart from the film, and An AMC employee spilled the beans on this exciting news via a social media post (check it out below). The caption reads: “Get ready to mine for diamonds at our cinema starting March [insert date]!
A brand-new popcorn bucket has been placed at AMC, associated with the forthcoming film “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” scheduled for release on March 21st. The pricing details are yet to be announced, but it certainly appears fantastic in five vibrant colors! #NewPopcornBucket
In the video, it seems that various colored diamonds are fastened to the tops of popcorn buckets. This means that moviegoers can select from red, yellow, green, purple, or blue lids. One might question whether these lids can be bought individually, or if fans need to repeatedly purchase the entire mining cart at full price in order to amass all five colors. Additionally, the Snow White souvenir showcases the outline of the movie’s protagonist (Zegler) and her seven small companions on one side.
In a forthcoming announcement on AMC theaters, the fabled apple from the Evil Queen (Gadot) will be placed atop the mining cart. While the TikTok video didn’t disclose its cost, past collectibles like the Nosferatu coffin container priced at $39.95 online and the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 popcorn bucket at $26.95 might provide a rough comparison. The apple will be available as early as March 20th.
The Cliché of “Bad Press Is Better Than No Press” Will Certainly Be Tested by ‘Snow White’
Fans of Disney have been eagerly anticipating the release of the new version of “Snow White,” but delays due to Writers Guild of America (WGA) and Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) strikes in 2023 have prolonged the wait. Now, finally, this live-action adaptation of the 1937 film is set to hit theaters this coming March. But will hardcore Disney fans still attend the movie following actress Rachel Zegler’s retraction of her previous comments criticizing the original animated version as “weird, weird”?
At the 2022 D23 Expo, Zegler sparked debate when she discussed the original Snow White film during an interview with Extra TV. In a somewhat humorous tone, she commented on the focus of the love story between Snow White and a man who essentially stalks her, stating: “That aspect wasn’t part of our approach this time.” However, in October 2024, Zegler clarified that her words were misconstrued during an interview with Variety. In her own defense, she emphasized that her comments were taken out of context.
To put it plainly, I felt a pang of sadness due to how it transpired, as I firmly hold the conviction that women possess limitless capabilities. Not only that, but I am equally certain they can achieve anything. In essence, we’ve moved beyond 1937, and she won’t be waiting for her prince charming or yearning for true love. Instead, she’s envisioning herself as the fearless, fair, brave, and true leader that her father said she could become if she embraced those qualities.
On March 21, 2025, the much-discussed live-action adaptation of Disney’s cherished Snow White will debut in theaters. Coincidentally, AMC’s fresh popcorn containers will also become available around the same time. Notably, despite all the debates, the studio has an advantage due to the fact that the Gal Gadot and Rachel Zegler-starring reinvention won’t clash with any major box office titles on its opening weekend in cinemas. Instead, Zegler’s character, famously humming while she works, will compete against Robert De Niro’s new film, The Alto Knights, as well as the movie Ash, led by Eiza González and Aaron Paul.
