Maison Margiela, a renowned French luxury fashion house, has officially announced that their new creative director, Glenn Martens, will unveil his initial collection for the brand during Haute Couture Week in July this year. The fashion company has disclosed that the Belgian designer’s first show under Maison Margiela’s banner will be the Artisanal show for Fall 2025, taking place from July 7 to 10 in Paris.

According to a statement made public on WWD, the brand announced the start of a fresh, inspiring chapter filled with creativity, deeply rooted in its original creative principles and influenced by Margiela’s couture legacy. Under Glenn’s leadership, the couture division will fuel innovation for the brand and foster groundbreaking designs. Maison Margiela was officially recognized as a haute couture house in 2012.

In January, it was revealed that Martens had been appointed as the new creative director for Maison Margiela, a position previously occupied by John Galliano for a decade. During fashion week, Margiela’s influence continues, maintaining the legacy Galliano established. At present, we don’t know what direction Martens will take with the house; however, he has had an 11-year tenure as the lead creative at Y/Project prior to this role.
