Goddess of Victory: NIKKE tier list and reroll guide

Updated on August 8th, 2024 – Version: 123.8(11) – Added: Ein, Zwei

As someone who’s spent countless hours battling digital foes and amassing an army of virtual warriors, I can confidently say that the low-tier units in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE are like the new recruits straight out of boot camp – they might have potential, but they ain’t ready for prime time just yet.

As you embark on your adventure in this new-style role-playing game, it’s essential to be prepared for any challenges ahead. That’s where our “Goddess of Victory NIKKE character ranking” can prove useful. We’ve compiled a list of top characters in the game to help you make informed decisions.

Before you choose your characters, make sure to understand how the game’s functions operate first. This way, you can build a top-notch team with any characters you obtain later. If you enjoy sorting characters and keeping up with the latest trends in games, take a peek at our KoF All Star tier list, AFK Arena tier list (with the most recent update), Alice Fiction tier list, and even a reroll guide – we’ve got plenty more from various games too.

The best characters in Nikke

Some of the highest-ranking characters in the game in the current meta are the ones that can perform really well in PvE mode (campaign mode) mainly since that is the game mode every player will need to focus on at the very start. These characters have performed really well individually but can also find a good spot on most of the teams.

As a seasoned gamer, I can confirm that some characters need a bit of finesse to unleash their full potential. For instance, Scarlet’s offensive power surges as her health dwindles, making her an intriguing character to master.

As a seasoned player with years of gaming under my belt, I can confidently say that this guide is a must-have for anyone diving into the world of this game. It’s meticulously compiled, ranking every character currently available and offering valuable insights about each one. Not only that, but it provides a reroll guide to help you secure a powerful unit from the very start of your gaming journey – if time allows, which I strongly recommend considering for a smoother experience in the long run. Trust me, this guide will be an invaluable resource on your path to mastery!

Goddess of Victory: NIKKE tier list & reroll guide

We’re going to dive into the complete tier list below, but if you want to check out the units in a specific tier or just skip to the Goddess of Victory: NIKKE reroll guide straight up (which is quite massive, we have to admit), then you can use the quick links below!

1 S+ Tier

At the very top of the NIKKE tier list, we have Scarlet and Liter, two of the most powerful characters currently available for PvE. While Scarlet is a top unit, she’s also a rather high-risk-high-reward type of unit, since you need to have lower HP in order to deal more damage.

In simpler terms, Lit is quite versatile as she can heal allies, inflict damage, and boost their attacking power. This versatility makes her an essential unit for many high-level teams, often considered a must-have.

Although we haven’t had enough time yet to fully assess Blanc and Noir, there’s a strong possibility that they could prove too powerful when used in tandem on a team. We’ll keep a close eye on their impact on the game and adjust our rankings accordingly. For now, this is a preliminary evaluation of these two characters.

2 S Tier

Pepper is an amazing support unit if you don’t have Liter, since she can provide quite a lot in terms of sustain. She doesn’t buff the allies’ attack as is the case for Liter, but her heal is just as good, if not better. As for the rest of the units, Privaty is one of our personal favourites, since her reload speed is extremely swift and she can easily find her place in any team. The same could be said for Harran, who has a super fun skill to use (the Death Scythe) if you’re in love with burst damage.

3 A Tier

In the A tier, we have some great SR units as well as SSRs, so if you plan on rerolling, you should try to have at least one of these SRs on the pull, as well as one of the S or S+ tier units.

In this rank, Neon serves as the initial Supporter for Skill Reinforcement, contrastingly, Rapi is the Attacker for Skill Reinforcement. Notably, Neon enhances allies’ Critical Rate and maximizes their Ammo Capacity (especially beneficial for Shotgun users), creating a synergistic relationship with Pepper, Sugar, Poli, or Drake.

When it comes to SSR characters like Snow White, I can vouch for their solid damage output – especially when her passive ability kicks in. It’s quite a sight!

4 B Tier

In the B tier we have some rather interesting units – while their rarity is not SSR, but SR, they can still be quite good for much of the game’s content.

Anis is an excellent illustration of such a character. She functions as a defensive unit, capable of boosting her own defense and partially shielding two nearby allies from incoming damage. Additionally, she can momentarily weaken the defense of opposing characters. Maxwell serves well as a DPS (Damage Per Second) character when no other options are available. Her bullets possess a penetrating effect, making them particularly effective against large groups of enemies.

5 C Tier

While some of these units have some potential, they are sadly not that good when you compare them to the ones ranking higher on our Goddess of Victory: NIKKE tier list.

Aria’s Allegro and Lacrimoso are effective at granting passive benefits to other team members, however, her active ability leaves room for improvement. Similarly, Mary is a decent healer, particularly when there aren’t any superior alternatives available, but she lags behind characters like Pepper who excel in both healing and dealing damage.

6 D Tier

The lowest-ranking units are the ones that won’t find their way into any team in the current meta or otherwise. These characters are just fillers, and you will probably use them at the beginning to fill up the team, but you will soon change them all for something better. There’s really nothing else to use them for, at least when it comes to the current meta (even if the characters are SSR, as is the case for Vesti, Soline, Isabel and Eunhwa).

7 Goddess of Victory: NIKKE Reroll Guide

Enjoying the process of rerolling in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE can be quite entertaining, and it’s unlike anything else in gaming. Players have discovered various creative strategies for rerolling, apart from the standard methods like deleting data or clearing the app. If you’re curious about how to master the art of rerolling in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, then stick around and find out!

Reroll method #1

As a gamer, here’s an easy way I could rephrase it: “To give this method a spin, simply log in using your Google or Gmail account. Start by playing with an email you have access to, just like any regular gaming session. After trying for the units, if luck isn’t on my side and I don’t get what I wanted, I can log out from this email and switch to another one (which appears to be different but holds a twist).”

The technique is known as “salted emails.” To utilize this method, simply insert an additional word or phrase (“something”) between your email name and the “@gmail.com” part of the email address. Instead of writing “[email protected]”, you should write “[email @gmail.com]”. This way, spam bots that scan for common email patterns will have a harder time detecting your actual email address.

The email MUST contain the “+” (plus) symbol and the “something” part can be anything, from numbers to letters. We prefer using the [email protected] and until we found the units we wanted, we kept writing down the email used (if you reroll for a while, it’s easier to keep track of the emails this way).

Reroll method #2

As an enthusiastic gamer, I’d start by logging into my game using a Guest account. After that, I’ll follow the tutorial until I reach the summoning section. Once there, I’ll perform the summon. If for whatever reason, I’m not satisfied with the outcome, I’ll then exit the game and navigate to the File Manager (or ‘Files’) on my device. From there, I’ll delve into the Android folder, and subsequently find the “com.proximabeta.nikke” folder.

Rename the folder to something else, such as “com.proximabeta.nikke1” and then go the app’s information and clear the storage (found in the Settings -> Apps and Notifications -> NIKKE -> Storage -> Clear Storage).

Go ahead and reopen the folder from your File Manager, then change its name back to its original one (such as changing “com.proximabeta.nikke1” back to “com.proximabeta.nikke”). Now, let’s fire up the game and start fresh!
