About Gods & Demons tier list

I have to mention that although I’ve also ranked the Epic and below heroes, most of them are all in the lowest tier. The reasoning for that is you will not be use any of them once you get the Mythic heroes. You will probably still use 1 Legendary (maybe, maybe not?), but the Epics and below you will use just for the Codex and as fodder.

It would be wise to consider enhancing the characters in the highest-ranked Gods & Demons category, as they currently boast the greatest power levels.

In most cases, any hero can be effective if the team dynamic is strong. But it’s essential to enhance them, and having multiple versions of the same hero (dupes) helps with that. However, obtaining dupes for Mythic heroes can be challenging, so in some situations, you may have to settle for Legendary heroes or even Epic ones when no better options are available.

Which are the best heroes in Gods & Demons?

There are a handful of heroes who could be considered the overall “best” right now, but in my opinion, you can make most Mythic heroes work. You can try out various comps to make your team shine, and if something doesn’t work how you want it to, then go for something different!

One great aspect is that you have the option to restart your characters. To accomplish this, simply click on the ‘Rebirth’ button, and the character you’ve enhanced will return to level 1.

1 S+ Tier

Blade Sentinel – Orpheus
Goddess of Light – Ostara

Without a doubt, Orpheus from Blade Sentinel is currently the top-tier hero. He’s capable of dishing out area-of-effect damage, and as his health decreases (from 100% to 50%, then 60%, and finally 70%), he transforms into a force to be reckoned with. It’s definitely worth investing in and utilizing him once you acquire him.

The radiant deity known as Ostara is currently your top choice for a healer. She excels in reducing damage, restoring health, boosting her companions’ Attack and Critical rates, and even upon her demise, she provides extra healing and enhancement.

Among my favorite heroes is the Indomitable King Grox – Powerful Tank. He’s undeniably impressive in combat, boasting unmatched protection and the ability to provoke enemies. Enemies cursed by him suffer extra damage after two rounds, making them even more vulnerable. What sets him apart, however, is his remarkable durability and the unique skill of resurrection – once per battle!

One of my favorite heroes is Indomitable King Grox – Powerful Tank. He’s a fantastic tank in battles, able to challenge enemies and make them vulnerable by cursing them for extra damage after two turns. Despite his tough exterior, he can even come back from the dead once per battle!

2 S Tier

Resurrection Angel – Seraphel

Nature’s Wrath – Freni

Celestial Maiden – Liana

Nature’s Fury – Freni is a potent magic Damage Per Second (DPS) character, capable of inflicting massive Area of Effect (AoE) damage. She can also cause bleeding in enemies and impose Silence on them if they are already bleeding. This makes her an effective team player, especially when paired with other characters that also induce bleeding. If you can successfully silence the opponents, Freni’s synergy with your team can be outstanding.

The “Resurrection Angel” Seraphel is fantastic for reviving your wounded allies and providing healing to your team, making her incredibly powerful. While the “Goddess of Light” Ostara might be more effective, if Ostara isn’t available, Seraphel makes an exceptional substitute.

Star Nurturer – Liana is another exceptional support character who provides healing, boosts, and resistance against crowd control (CC) for her teammates, making her a top choice for the Arena. She’s also capable of removing negative effects (debuffs), and if you enhance her ability Soaring Dance to level 3, she will additionally reflect damage. In short, she’s a formidable force in the Arena!

3 A Tier

Blazing Fallen Phoenix – Canaan
Ashen Raven Spirit – Sefran
Blade Assassin – Rein
Axe King – Argos
Flame Quest – Flamia
Tribe Guardian – Ella
Demon Hunter – Luxey
Sylvan Spirit – Luna

Ella, our Tribe Protector, has an area-of-effect true damage ability that’s quite effective, particularly in story mode. I’ve been using her since she was my first Mythic character drawn, and she’s fantastic. When combined with the right team, she could even rank as S tier or higher.

In a well-coordinated team, Reinhardt, known as the Blade Assassin, truly shines. With his comrades’ blows, he triggers extra regular attacks, and he inflicts more damage on enemies with decreasing health levels.

In simpler terms, Luna, the Sylvan Spirit, is a legendary hero with an impressive skill set. She not only restores health to several team members but also provides them with Health Regeneration. Additionally, she can cleanse debuffs from allies. If you don’t have a superior healer, Luna will perform exceptionally well during the early and mid-game phases.

4 B Tier

It’s wiser to limit your use of B-tier characters as much as possible. While we do have Mythic heroes, they don’t match up to any hero ranked in the A tier or higher.

As an example, Sand Fury – Billy possesses a potent defensive skill, yet it safeguards merely two companions. At the onset of combat, he does fortify every ally with his massive stature, however, the protection isn’t particularly robust.

Concerning Hell’s Roar – Grom, he serves as a Damage Per Second (DPS) character, possessing Lifesteal ability, but his performance isn’t exceptional. In the advanced phases, he doesn’t self-heal enough for optimal results. Therefore, it would be wiser to select another more effective hero instead.

5 C Tier

Avoid selecting heroes from the lower end of the Gods and Demons tier list for your teams. These characters are primarily meant to be dismantled or used to upgrade your key characters. The heroes in this tier include all those classified as Epic and below, which offer no value for any game content. Once you acquire them in your Codex, they can’t be upgraded further.
