As a dedicated fan of Tyler, the Creator and his eclectic fashion sense, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming GOLF WANG x Clarks collaboration! The first teaser back in February left us all intrigued with those tantalizing sneak peeks of the yellow shoebox. And now, six months later, we finally have confirmation that the shoes are dropping this week!
Approximately six months after initially hinting at a partnership with Clarks, Tyler, the Creator’s brand GOLF WANG has now announced that the collaborative shoe is set to be released this week.
Last month, I came across a post on Tyler’s Instagram feed. He had shared a series of images, and among them was one of a shoebox with a yellow Clarks and Golf Wang label. The description accompanying the photos read “GOLF 2024.” As a dedicated gamer and follower of Tyler’s social media, I couldn’t help but get excited about this sneak peek into what might be coming next from his GOLF brand.
On Taylor, the day was Tuesday when GOLF WANG unveiled the collaboration’s authenticity through another social media post. In this image, we caught a sneak peek at the real shoes: pastel pink and green variations of Clarks’ Wallabee, accompanied by a black pair.
Based on the information given, it seems that the loafers have a textured surface, possibly featuring a heart print pattern, which was visible in the shoebox image shared in February.
On Saturday, July 27, at 11 a.m. in each local timezone, the GOLF WANG x Clarks Wallabees will be available for purchase on the GOLF WANG website and at their stores located in London, New York, and Los Angeles.
