- Good Pizza, Great Pizza is a hit indie cooking sim celebrating ten years
- It’s been chugging along in the background and has made many of our lists for its great gameplay
- So check out what’s in store with new events to celebrate the anniversary!
As a gamer who’s seen the rise and fall of countless titles over the years, I can confidently say that Good Pizza, Great Pizza has proven itself to be an exceptional exception. Ten years is no small feat for any game, especially one developed by a dedicated indie team like TapBlaze.
There’s a strong argument for the value of games that require endurance. Often, these are either beloved by fans over time or supported by big development studios. Yet, some manage to survive based solely on the quality of their gameplay. One such example is Great Pizza, Good Pizza.
With a decade of experience under their belt, developer TapBlaze is eager to commemorate this milestone! To celebrate this significant anniversary, enthusiasts will have the opportunity to join a fresh event. This occasion will showcase new decorations, as well as the presence of both allies and competitors, along with an intriguing new narrative. It’s bound to be a fun time for any pizza enthusiast!
Additionally, the event isn’t limited to just within the game! For those living in or visiting Los Angeles, you can step out and head to Gallery Nucleus to experience an extensive real-life showcase of art from GPGP. You’ll find panel discussions, display of concept artwork, merchandise, and yes, even pizza for everyone to enjoy!

If you haven’t heard of Good Pizza, Great Pizza, I don’t blame you. It’s something that had flown under my radar too, but it sits comfortably at over a million players year in and year out. The fact it did so without any kind of VC funding is also worthy of commendation, so we can only wish the folks at TapBlaze the best with this latest milestone!
