As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but notice the parallels drawn in Bollywood – especially for those who carry the star status of their parents. Yashvardhan Ahuja, affectionately known as Yash, son of the iconic 90s star Govinda, is no different as he readies himself for his acting debut. Speaking about this subject, Sunita Ahuja, Govinda’s wife, acknowledged that Yash will surely encounter public scrutiny. However, she emphasized that he has been an active participant in the process from its grassroots and isn’t venturing into the unknown blindly.
During a chat with Times Now, Sunita Ahuja expressed that she fervently hopes her son Yashvardhan Ahuja will attain success. Her wish is that he receives acclaim and recognition while being shielded from harmful influences like negativity and ill-intentioned people. She yearns for him to be showered with prosperity, affection, but above all, humility.
Even though Yash comes from a movie-making background, Sunita emphasized that he’s demonstrated dedication to understanding the film industry by working as an assistant director on projects like Dishoom and Baaghi. She praised these experiences, stating they provided him with a strong base and readied him for his unique cinematic endeavors.
Considering the high standards associated with being Govinda’s son, Sunita acknowledged the tremendous pressure, yet underscored that Yash is determined to carve out his unique identity, progressing at a pace that suits him best.
Yash is about to debut in the acting world with an upcoming movie directed by award-winning filmmaker Sai Rajesh. Previously, this director has received recognition for his work on successful Telugu films like Colour Photo, Hrudaya Kaleyam, and Baby. Additionally, it’s been reported that Babil Khan, son of the late actor Irrfan Khan, will also be part of the cast alongside Yash in this production.
During a recent discussion, Yashvardhan Ahuja shared that his father advised him to forge his unique path within the movie industry instead of relying on quick fixes or shortcuts. Reminiscing about their conversation, he mentioned one key piece of guidance his father offered: to steer clear of using inappropriate language in films, as this was a practice his father had always avoided during his acting career.
