As a seasoned gamer of timepieces and a connoisseur of luxury watches, I must admit that the Nano Foudroyante EWT by Greubel Forsey has left me utterly spellbound! With its 20th anniversary celebration, this masterpiece is truly a testament to the Maison’s unwavering commitment to innovation and craftsmanship.
To mark its 20th anniversary, Greubel Forsey has unveiled its tenth “Groundbreaking Invention,” presenting the Nano Foudroyante EWT watch. This unique timepiece showcases a significantly advanced mechanism, combining the world’s first perpetual Nano Foudroyante with the brand’s initial manual-winding flyback and flying tourbillon.
The newly introduced timepiece, which has a diameter of 37.9mm, is housed in a white gold casing and features a tantalum bezel. The dial showcases a multi-tiered construction made of gold, with a rhodium finish. Black lacquered hour and minute rings sit atop this, along with an opening for both the tourbillon and the rapid second hand (seconde foudroyante).
Equipped with a single-day power reserve, the caseback provides an unrestricted look into its finely detailed inner mechanisms. Only 11 pieces of the Nano Foudroyante EWT are available, each costing 465,000 Swiss Francs (approximately $538,132 USD). For additional details, visit Greubel Forsey’s official website.
