- Grimguard Tactics has seen its release date pushed back a month to October 23rd
- Fans will need to wait a little longer to get to grips with this grimdark RPG
- But developer Outerdawn promises more raids, dungeons and even heroes at launch
As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I can say that patience is the name of the game when it comes to anticipating new releases. The delay of Grimguard Tactics from September 12th to October 23rd might be a bummer for some, but as someone who’s been eagerly awaiting No More Room in Hell 2 since its initial Halloween promise three years ago, I can attest that this minor delay is nothing to lose sleep over.
Due to feedback received during the beta testing phase, game developer Outerdawn has regrettably delayed the launch of Grimguard Tactics from its initial September 12th release date to October 23rd instead. This may not offer much solace to fans eagerly waiting for this tactical RPG, but Outerdawn assures that this decision is crucial for ensuring an optimal gaming experience
Nevertheless, it’s not just about Poland, as there are additional elements being incorporated to compensate for the delayed launch. New raid zones, dungeons, and characters like the Mercenary are all anticipated to be introduced at launch due to the revised release date
You might have figured it out from the title, but Grimguard Tactics is all about tactical role-playing games. It’s set in a world where even the gods are dead and the living aren’t exactly friendly. You’ll lead an array of grim and vengeful characters on a quest for revenge, making things as straightforward and violent as possible
A grim dawn
To be honest, I don’t believe anyone should be overly upset by such a small delay. After all, I’ve been anticipating the release of No More Room in Hell 2 for almost three years now, so a slight setback seems insignificant. If it ensures that Grimguard Tactics is released in its best possible form, then it’s definitely worth the wait
