Gypsy Rose Blanchard to Narrate Audiobook Edition of Her Memoir ‘My Time to Stand’

I was thrilled to hear the news that I, Blanchard, will be the one bringing my first memoir, “My Time to Stand: A Memoir,” to life as the narrator of its audiob edition, courtesy of RBmedia. Co-authored with Melissa Moore and Michele Matrisciani, this deeply personal account is set to drop in December, marking a significant milestone following my release from prison last year.

In 2016, Blanchard was notoriously given a 10-year prison term following her confession to manipulating her online acquaintance, Nicholas Godejohn, into murdering her mother Dee Dee Blanchard. For years, she had made her daughter, also named Blanchard, feign various illnesses such as leukemia and muscular dystrophy at her mother’s insistence. The younger Blanchard was granted parole on December 28th, having served approximately 85% of her sentence in Missouri’s Chillicothe Correctional Center.
