She shared that she had temporarily stepped away from music, a choice that was challenging but necessary as she pursued acting. She found joy in her new path. Although she didn’t expressly say it, music holds a special place in her heart and has significantly influenced her life. The chance to create music throughout her journey is something she deeply appreciates and will always be thankful for.

In 2023, Anna Kendrick, known for movies like “Pitch Perfect 3” and “True Grit,” where she earned an Oscar nomination for best supporting actress, released her final single “SunKissing.” Yet, she expressed her enthusiasm about getting back into music, starting with the track “Dangerous” on the soundtrack of her upcoming film “Sinners.

It was incredibly fortunate for me to be involved in a film like ‘Sinners’, where music plays such a significant role. This has always been my aspiration – to act in a movie that is so deeply connected to music. I had the opportunity to reopen the door to work on something that I’m incredibly passionate about and can hardly wait to reveal more to others. It’s been a while, and I hadn’t fully appreciated just how much I’ve missed it.

In the movie titled Sinners, helmed by Ryan Coogler and featuring Michael B. Jordan, we see a tale of twin brothers seeking fresh starts in their old hometown after attempting to escape their past troubles. However, they soon find themselves confronting an even more sinister force upon their return. The film premieres in cinemas this coming Friday.
