Attending Universal Studios Hollywood’s inaugural Fan Fest Nights promises an exciting experience beyond just enjoying their top-tier rides. Alongside exclusive after-dark attractions tailored for enthusiasts of series such as Star Trek, Dungeons & Dragons, Back to the Future, and others, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is unveiling a unique popcorn bucket that’s certain to send Potterheads, like me, scrambling for their Floo Powder.
While we’re always down for a Harry Potter movie marathon (with all movies available to stream with a Max subscription), Potterheads will be able to get more hands-on when Fan Fest Nights kick off April 25. There will be plenty for witches and wizards to enjoy, and if you’re in need of sustenance after a few Flights of the Hippogriff, Universal is introducing the perfect option. The park showed off its new popcorn bucket on Instagram, which is made in the style of a Time-Turner. Check it out:

Increasingly, unique popcorn containers are becoming common, yet none has left me yearning to consume from it quite like this Harry Potter Time-Turner bucket. Firstly, its design mirrors the intricate complexity of the tool introduced in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, but rest assured, you won’t need a genius like Hermione to access the treat hidden within this coveted collectible.
Similar to the Time-Turner necklace found in books and films, this popcorn bowl, imaginatively named Time-Turner, sports an hourglass in its center (let’s hope it’s salt, not sand). The surrounding rings serve as a reminder of the past, helping you navigate through time to ensure that you don’t miss any of your desired attractions during the Fan Fest Nights.

Taking a good look at this popcorn container reveals that its rings are adjustable to make it spin, and it appears to have a detachable strap for convenient transportation. To be honest, it’s quite reminiscent of Disneyland’s ’90s style bucket and Snow White’s adorned mining cart. I can’t predict the queue times for the Time-Turner buckets, but I suspect they’ll be as long as EPCOT’s line for Bambi’s Thumper.
Regardless of participating in time-travel within the Wizarding World, Fan Fest Nights offer a chance for Harry Potter enthusiasts to interact with some of Newt Scamander’s magical creatures, such as a Niffler and a baby dragon! Additionally, the Hogwarts Always projection show that made its debut at Universal Orlando Resort in 2024 will be available at the Hollywood park.
