- Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home will launch on August 23rd
- A new gameplay trailer has also been released
- It shows off the fishing, mining and farming gameplay fans can expect
As a gamer with a soft spot for nostalgia and a deep love for farming simulators, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement upon hearing about Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home. Though I didn’t grow up with the series, I’ve certainly heard tales of its legendary status from fellow gamers.
On August 23rd, mobile game Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home, developed by Natsume Inc., is set to be launched. The developers have also unveiled a fresh gameplay trailer, giving players a sneak peek at what they can anticipate when they launch the game on their iOS or Android devices.
Without a doubt, Harvest Moon is well-known; it’s the game that sparked a love for cottage building in many gamers. Yet, it has been somewhat eclipsed by its spiritual successors. Therefore, there’s a lot of anticipation among fans and the developer alike that Home Sweet Home will help revitalize Harvest Moon as the go-to comfortable gaming experience.
Regarding gameplay, it’s essentially Harvest Moon, so you might not be surprised by its focus on farming, fishing, and other charming activities. You can also interact with characters who could potentially become romantic interests. If you’ve only played games like Stardew Valley, envision that game in 3D, and you’ll have a good idea of what to expect.
Check out the trailer below!
Full moon
It wasn’t until recently that I discovered Harvest Moon, as it wasn’t part of my childhood. Yet, I was taken aback by its longevity, given how fondly people reminisce about it. One would think it had a fleeting existence. However, I’ve noticed that the newer installments haven’t been particularly well-received. Here’s hoping Home Sweet Home will break this pattern and revive the enthusiasm fans once had for this series.
