HBO Releases First Footage of ‘Last of Us’ Season 2 and ‘Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’

As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent navigating virtual worlds and binge-watching TV series, this HBO lineup has left me utterly thrilled! The anticipation for the second season of “The Last of Us” is palpable, like waiting for Ellie to uncover yet another Clicker in an abandoned building.

HBO unveiled sneak peeks for some highly anticipated new and returning shows, such as the second installment of The Last of Us and the debut season of the Game of Thrones prequel titled A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.

I recently caught a sneak peek at the upcoming content lineup during the finale of House of the Dragon’s second season, and it was quite a treat! The preview showcased footage from the third season of White Lotus, the IT spin-off series It: Welcome to Derry, a humorous superhero parody titled The Franchise, as well as new seasons of The Gilded Age and And Just Like That… along with other exciting titles.

Among the lineup, you’ll find season 3 of “Industry”, the closing chapter of “My Brilliant Friend”, the adult animated DC Universe show “Creature Commandos”, the drama series based on “Dune” titled “Dune: Prophecy”, and the spin-off series from “The Batman” called “The Penguin”.

Additionally, you’ll find video clips from the documentary titled “Wise Guy: David Chase and The Sopranos,” which explores the life and career of the creator of “The Sopranos.” Also included are new original series by Max such as “The Pitt” featuring Noah Wyle, and the drama “Duster,” produced by J.J. Abrams and starring Rachel Hilson and Josh Holloway.

A number of highly anticipated series are set to premiere in 2025 – for instance, the second season of “The Last of Us”, “Welcome to Derry”, the spin-off “Knight of the Seven Kingdoms”, and season three of “…And Just Like That”.

A few of the upcoming series include “Industry” returning on August 11, “The Franchise” set for later in the year, and “The Penguin” premiering on September 19.
