- Hero Wars has hit a new lifetime install milestone of 150 million
- It’s also held strong in many charts and remains a top-grossing game for Nexters
- We reckon we can take a guess as to what’s sparked this latest milestone
As a dedicated gamer, I’m thrilled to share that the RPG experience I love, Hero Wars, has reached an amazing milestone. With over 150 million installs under its belt, developed by Nexters, this game continues to captivate players like me. And let me tell you, the revenue numbers for this fantasy RPG released more than five years ago are nothing short of impressive! If you’ve seen those unusual YouTube ads, you know what I mean.
The game Hero Wars, featuring the knight Galahad on his quest to overthrow the Archdemon, has consistently ranked well since its debut in 2017. Yet, the recent achievement is noteworthy due to the intense competition it faces.
I’ve only scratched the surface of Hero Wars, focusing mainly on its more recent developments due to the ever-evolving nature of the gaming world. However, I can’t help but be intrigued by the enduring appeal of Galahad’s adventures. Having grown up with classic tales of knights and magic, I’ve always had a soft spot for stories that transport me to far-off lands filled with heroic deeds and epic battles.
Weird to wonderful
Although the saying goes that any publicity is good publicity, it’s safe to assume that some people might be deterred by Hero Wars’ unconventional and at times bizarre advertising campaigns. Therefore, this recent achievement could be attributed in part to Hero Wars’ groundbreaking partnership with Tomb Raider.
Lara Croft’s authentic aura may have persuaded doubtful gamers to reconsider Hero Wars, resulting in an impressive new achievement. Therefore, it seems plausible that there will be additional collaborations in the future.
If none of those games appeal to you, feel free to explore our list of highly anticipated mobile games this year instead. Keep an eye on these upcoming releases in the coming months!
