HIDDEN.NY, a global streetwear brand born from an Instagram mood board, is collaborating once more with NEEDLES, based in Tokyo. This collaboration will result in an exclusive capsule collection available at the NEPENTHES Tokyo store. The line is marked by HIDDEN.NY’s distinctive use of green tones, layered logos, and graphics reminiscent of early internet aesthetics.
The latest assortment includes iconic NEEDLES designs such as sewn patchwork tees, vintage tracksuits, woolen mohair cardigans, and sports-inspired parachute pants. HIDDEN.NY stands out prominently throughout the range, featuring its striking circle emblem screen-printed on the rear of garments, embroidered onto sweater sleeves, and woven into new HIDDEN.NY intarsia socks – a signature item for the New York brand.
The label’s identity is also closely tied to the spectrum of green hues used across the collection, including a crewneck tee in a shade reminiscent of the “invisible” green paint used on scaffolding in New York City. On the back of the shirt, a hi-vis orange HIDDEN.NY monogram is transposed with a digitally glitched NEEDLES butterfly icon.
