As a seasoned gamer with a keen eye for fashion and a wallet that’s been through the wringer thanks to my love for unique items, I can’t help but feel a thrill at the prospect of H&M’s 20th anniversary Guest Designer Re-released collections. The thought of getting my hands on some iconic pieces from designers like Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, and Alexander Wang is almost too good to be true!

Following the addition of Karl Lagerfeld and Alber Elbaz, along with other popular designers like Simone Rocha and Isabel Marant, H&M’s guest designer program revolutionized luxury fashion when it launched its first collaboration – with a renowned Chanel creative director – back in 2004.
In honor of its 20-year partnership collaborations, the fast-fashion brand based in Sweden is reintroducing vintage items from selected designer collections on their website HM.com starting October 31st. Previously, certain items have already been available at H&M’s physical stores across Europe and New York from October 24th to 30th.

As a gamer, I’m excited about H&M’s re-release, but they haven’t revealed the prices yet. From past experiences, I suspect the apparel, accessories, and footwear will fall within their original range, roughly between $20 and $300. Remember, that expensive Balmain bead-embroidered mini dress from before was $649, but it’s unclear if we’ll see it in this pre-loved collection. Keep your eyes peeled for more updates!
In the promotional campaign for the upcoming re-launch, British fashion influencer Kate Phelan has creatively arranged a variety of pieces. These include luxurious tulle gowns from Lanvin and Valli, disco-inspired garments from Rabanne, a Balmain black blazer and knitted dress, an Erdem fur coat and floral dress, a pink A-line dress and white sweater reminiscent of Glinda by Rocha, Margiela outerwear, a Versace little black dress and boots, stylish Jimmy Choo zebra print heels, a neoprene sweater from Wang, and many more exciting items.
Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M’s creative advisor, explains that our goal is to make global consumers part of the world of fashion, while emphasizing our commitment to robust, intelligent, and unique design. This aligns with H&M’s core philosophy – that superior quality and innovation should be accessible to all.
Previously, our collections were celebrated with glamorous events attended by celebrities like Kendall Jenner, who unveiled her Giambattista Valli collaboration at Cannes, Sarah Jessica Parker, Selma Blair, Chloë Sevigny, Audrey Tatou, January Jones, and others throughout the years.
