2024 has been an exceptional year for Honor of Kings, marking a significant milestone with their worldwide release. Notably, a new invitational series will make its debut in the Philippines from February 21st to March 1st, and more crucially, global ban&pick will be implemented for the season three invitational and all future tournaments.

In simpler terms, when you say “Ban & Pick,” you’re referring to a strategy in competitive gaming where each team gets to ban one character from being played by both teams, and then pick one character to play themselves. Once a hero is used by one team during a match, that hero cannot be selected again by the same team for the rest of the tournament, but it remains available for their opponents to choose.

In most Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) games, players tend to focus on a limited number of characters they excel at, rather than diversifying their skills across many.
